My mouth is watering just thinking about how delicious the burgers are here!

Very reasonable prices, and some of the best burgers I have ever had--the blue burger and the olive burger are amazing! It's bar food, so don't come here if you are expecting anything healthy--a caesar salad is as good as it gets in that area. Great selection on beer as well. Now that I don't live in the Soo, it is the one place I still think about going back to, good for either chilling and having a few beers with friends, watching hockey, or having a nice dinner with a lover or family. It will be the one of the first places I visit when I get back up north. The Irish red is a perfect compliment to a cold snowy evening. Be sure to play some of the bar games with your friends.

    Overall a fine establishment.

Service was lacluster at best.  Food was nothing but greese. Way over priced, and then they over charged my credit card by over $30.  Place is only good for drinks.

I can't say anything bad about Moloney's. My job sends me to Sault Ste Marie in the winters for a few weeks. Moloney's has become my preferred place to go when I can't decide what to eat. The food is good, the beer selection is rather broad, and they have the two things every Irish pub should...Jameson and Guinness.

The building itself is pretty cool. It's obvious that someone is a sports fan as there are plenty of televisions and the walls are adorned with framed, signed sports jerseys from some of the bigger names in professional sports. If you are looking for a place to watch a game this would be the place to go. While you're there you can pick some good tunes out of the juke box, play billiards, and enjoy good food and drinks.

Nice staff - fried pickles a little bit disappointing but burgers really good - like the sweet potatoe fries here. All in all for a Pub in the Soo a little bit too pricy. Unfortunately there are not so much Pubs like this in the Soo - so go there its ok.

First time to the Soo, and first time to Maloney's.  Went on a Friday night with a large group (about 14ppl).  While we all didnt get to sit together, we were all in the same area.  Wait staff was good, though we had a slight misunderstanding as to what a snake bite was, I always thought it was 1/2 cider and 1/2 Ale, and what I got was a whiskey and Lime juice shot.  Not a big deal, and it was sort of funny when I brought it up to our server.  She ended up comping the Whiskey / Lime juice shot and both of us chalked it up to being a regional difference.

Overall nice spot to have a few drinks, catch up and grab something to eat.

Good place to sit and talk to friends.  Decent draft selection and an okay black and tan.  Don't mind it at all.

Pretty dead on a Monday night. A handful of locals at the bar watching whatever happened to be on tv. One enjoyed a beer and a cigar in the corner. Friendly waitstaff. Free popcorn in the dining area. Good place to enjoy a beer or two, while not having to shout over the music or crowd to have a conversation.

I'm originally from the Soo, and my family has been long time devotees to Maloney's.  It has a great atmosphere (see Paul e's review), clean with friendly waitstaff.  You can watch the game on the big screen TV's or just sit and talk with a few brews.  It is definitely a local hangout year-round, but has a fair share of tourists in the summer.

Great selection of beers for the area, on tap and bottled, as well as a full bar.  The menu isn't incredibly extensive, but carries a range of items from typical bar food to whitefish or perch dinners and steak.  Always tasty, hearty, and reasonably priced.  My grandma loves the olive burger.  I like the Irish sticks (deep fried green beans!) or the Con Queso to snack on, and maybe a steak or bowl of soup for dinner (not being a fish fan myself).

Overall, probably the best bar in the Soo.

Not a lot to do in the Soo... This was a really fun place to go hang out. Kinda reminded me of Cheers. The food is just ok...if I ever visit the Soo again, I'll probably go to Maloneys but not for the food.
