Good pizza, great garlic bread. Â However, as far as their taco pizza goes, they skimp way too much on the salsa and sour cream. Â We are taco pizza lovers and order it quite often. Â They used to give 2 small containers of salsa and 2 small containers of sour cream, which equated to a little more than 2 tablespoons of each. Â Not nearly enough for a LARGE pizza. Â The problem was "sometimes" solved by asking for extra sour cream and salsa. Â I say "sometimes", because they usually forgot it, and you would get the normal 2 each and an apology for forgetting the "extra". Â The other day, we ordered a taco pizza with EXTRA sauces. Â When they arrived, I asked the delivery guy if the extra sauces where in the box. Â He said "let's have a look", and opened the box. Â There were only 2 of each... Â I said, "Nope - they forgot again." Â The delivery guy said, "No, actually, they are in there. Â We only give 1 container of each now." Â I said, "You're kidding!! Â Only 1 salsa and 1 sour cream for a LARGE pizza??" Â He said "Yep, so you got two extra". Â Ridiculous! Â When you order a taco pizza from pizza hut, they literally line the pizza with packets of both... Â Sometimes, that's not even enough for us. Â Mama Mia's pizza should include at LEAST 3 containers of each- and NOT forget the extra when people order it! Â Otherwise, you are NOT getting enough!! Â Essentially, one tablespoon each "may" do the trick for a small pizza, but for a large... it's insulting, and pathetic, especially when you're paying over $25.00 for a large taco pizza and an order of garlic bread ($4.00 tip included).
Review Source:I have eat pizza all over the country- and appreciate all of the regional varieties BUT this place's old country Sicilian pizza with ham is my very favorite! Every time we r in town I lobby for mama Mia carry out! I've heard the sandwiches r good too but I don't think I will ever get anything else! And in Fort Wayne Indiana of all places!
