Mamma Llama Coffeehouse

We stopped here on our was from Redwoods to Lava Beds. What a great eatery. I had my doubts at first as the 3 college types behind the counter worked busily. My chai latte was probably the best I have ever had and my chef salad, a recommendation by one of the workers was fresh and tasty. My kids Italian soda slushees hit the spot and the sandwiches were tasty. A must if stopping in this no man's land.

We go to the Trinity Alps each year for a backpacking trip, and each year we start the day at Mamma Llama. They have awesome breakfast burritos, fresh delicious coffee, and friendly service in a cool hangout setting. We aren't locals, but the woman who works there makes us feel like we are. It always makes me consider whether we should skip the backpacking and come back in the evening to see who is playing, but alas, the mountains call. Looking forward to next year!

The owners of this place are so nice. They provide free wifi for their customers & their drinks aren't bad. I mostly went in for an italian soda since I wasn't a big coffee drinker. They have shows here as well that I did not have a chance to partake in during my 3-month stay. I'd definitely stopby just to see a tiny bit of the Weaverville culture within its walls :)
