Perfect roadside bar & grill! The food is amazing & priced very low. I had the East Kent Sandwich (turkey and Genoa salami panini on local bread. The turkey was fresh meat and the salami as thick cut and delicious. My husband had the burger, also fantastic. The portions are huge and they are sharing - friendly. Beers are cheap too; I had a 20 oz Stella for $5:50. The outdoor seating is charming. There are tables in trellised arbors with sleeping cats in residence. Some tables overlook the Hoosic river. Overall quaint and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Yes, it is great, and worth the drive.  Tip:  try the beef stew.  It is rich and flavorful and plentiful [be hungry, served with a spoon to get every drop of the powerful sauce/gravy]... [a touch less salt in the prep would not hurt].  We sat in the garden for lunch on a lovely autumn day with a view of the neighboring hillside and the sound of the creek in the distance.  Perfect!

PS:  the cole slaw is made in house and is tops.
