My colleagues and I stopped here while working on a project in town and I enjoyed the food and service. Our waitress was amazing. She refilled my drink enough times that I needed. I ordered the cheeseburger platter and it was fantastic. It came with cole slaw, which was very good, and french fries, which was okay. I wanted to speak to the owner, which was the cook, but he was very busy. Plus, at this moment, while the Purple Cow is being renovated, this is the only restaurant that is open on Main Street.
Review Source:Had lunch here with my colleagues while working on a project in town and it was okay. Â The service was fantastic and the place was very clean, I enjoyed hanging out with my friends and having lunch here. Â However, the food was good, but average. Â I tried the cole slaw, fries, and pork tenderloin sandwich. Â It was all very good, but was nothing special. Â The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and quick service, but lacks in specialty food. Â All in all, it was a good place to escape to for a quick lunch break.
Review Source:This restaurant is on the Main Street of Beattyville, the town that sits by the bed that is the mouth of the Kentucky River. I have been discovering lately, as I have been visiting the area, that there is a lot of focus being put on this area to enhance it's beauty and attraction, since it once was a booming area but had been bypassed in recent years by a highway that heas been built so that out of towners never even see this historic place. But on Main St.., Â Manna Cafe on Main has become a great part of this project to build up the downtown area once again as it has a beautiful storefront and equally attractive inside ambience. It's a bit small inside but the atmosphere is cool and comfortable and the food is good. I had the beef manhatten, which satiated my appetite perfectly. They use old fashioned glass bottles for the ketchup and the service is good. If there are more places like this downtown, Main street will indeed be the hopping spot it once was.
