Mariani's Restaurant

The food was ok. The service was good. The building is cool overlooking a lake.

We ate here on a Thursday night in October, 2011 and were not impressed.  I had a steak and my wife had a broiled flounder.  Both were over seasoned.  My steak was less than 3/4 of an inch thick and I asked for medium rare and it was overcooked and somewhat tough.  The flounder was also over cooked, which was a shame because it was a nice sized fillet.

the staff was nice and the place is fairly new, so clean.  The dining area is expansive with high ceilings because there is an upstairs seating area around the perimeter.  There is also a nice waterfall feature.

Unfortunately, it is also a restaurant and needs to have better cooks.
