Although the folks were friendly, i have to say I gaveit the old college try. I have gone 3 times. No matter what I order, chop suey, chow mein, sauted tofu with vegtables, Â everything is seved in brown sauce and tastes like La Choy without the beansprouts. Yup chop suey with brown sauce and never have I been served one bean sprout. Of courseit doesn'thelp, I have been in Asia working for many years and know the difference. Any way this is a strange Chinese Restaurant.
Review Source:Absolutely amazing. The owners here are long time friends with my family and we drove out from Charlotte (1 hour and 30 min) drive to get here to eat their food. The egg rolls, absolutely delicious. If they moved down to Charlotte, Siler City would surely miss them as they are one of the places people would go to.
So back to the egg rolls, it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Filled with meat and even the duck sauce is unnecessary when you eat these, as it is filled with flavor as it is.
Because we journeyed there, they prepared some off the menu dishes. So, I can't really comment on their true menus, but the owner changes the menu every once and a while to keep the restaurant interesting and special.
Overall, I wish I had one in Charlotte, but our family will still ride out 2 hours from Charlotte to eat here.
