San Felipe Mexican Restaurant

My craving for Mexican cuisine was handily satisfied at San Felipe Mexican Restaurant.  It is a 'chain' restaurant.  However, the wait staff and management do take the job seriously.  I arrived about 7 o' clock to find a steady stream of patrons.  I did not have to wait but for a moment.  Seating was a comfortable booth and the CFL lighting added to the atmosphere of Mexico.  The experience began with the salsa and tortilla chips.  The salsa was very good.  The chips were hot.  Outstanding combination!  I ordered from the dinner menu.  I had the fajita nachos.  I chose steak and chicken combination.  The wait time for my food was relatively short.  I had sweet tea to drink.  The food came sizzling hot and was very good.  The sweet tea did not put me into acoma.  It was just right!  Sanitation was outstanding!   Service was on task!  Checked out with a smile!  My only regret is failing to snap a photo!

We went on a Friday evening at 8:00 and the place was hopping.  The sanitation grade was proudly displayed when you walk it.  They are doing the right things because they earned a 100.5.  The place was clean and decorated with all bright colors.  The menu was typical to Mexican restaurants so I ordered what I order the first time I go to any Mexican restaurant.  It came out hot and exactly like I wanted.  The service was fast and friendly.  Oh and the salsa and chips hit the table just as you sit down.  Nothing to complain about!
