It was a last minute thing for my friends and I. It was spacious and not chaotic with crowds. Fun and very nice employees. Like the choices they had for hookah mix.

I've been to plenty of Hookah bars in my day, and this place was easily the worst one I've ever been to. Dirty neighborhood and not a very comfortable or cozy lounge environment. There were 5 of us and we just wanted to have a quick and mellow hookah session, and the owner was trying to make us buy 3. Pretty rude dude right off the bat, so we got up and left. So many better places around, dont waste your time here.

I love this place! Went here with 3 other people and it was around $45 for two hookahs, two hot teas, and a few waters for each of us on their Sunday pricing. One hookah per two people.

The atmosphere was great. When we walked in around 6pm they had the football game on and there was a small crowd of people inside. After the game they had an array of music playing for the remainder of our visit.

Super chill place. The hookah was amazing and it lasted for around 2-2 1/2 hours. I recommend the Snow White hookah if you like mint flavors. We were given new coals around every 10-15 minutes and they blew out our bowl a couple times which was nice to get the mild amount of ash off of the bowl and clear it out.

The place is spread out enough so that you don't hear other people's conversations and your group can have time and space to yourselves.

The owner was extremely friendly and super sociable. Great guy!(: he recommended that we try the Snow White.

Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back again soon!((:

    Check-in offer: One free drink

Must order two hookahs for every two people in your party.
    Coal service is great!
Staff is friendly and always asking how you're doing.
Ask the staff for custom flavors they created themselves.

I went on a Sunday night after Knott's Scary Farm and they were blasting EDM inside. My friends and I were not looking for that type of scene but thankfully they had a few tables outside where we could enjoy our hookah in peace.

I went with 2 friends for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was very open, relaxing, and the hookahs were great. The owner was very nice as well and gave us some great flavor suggestions. I can't wait to come back here again. Found my new hookah spot!

You should come here for a good time. My wife and I couldn't figure out what to do so we checked this place out on yelp and it was perfect. Not too busy but enogh crowd that you don't feel bored. Good music and very kind staff. The guy walks around and cleans out your  bowl by blowing air in the back of the piece. It revitalizes the flavor instantly.  No other place has done that for us in the past. Very nice guy! Prices are low too.

Hands down best spot in the area. Very spacious and cool vibe. I'm not a big smoker but I def enjoy hookah with some friends once in a while. Awesome service as well. I don't like the coals they use but it is not the worst. That's the only reason I didnt give them five stars. Place gets rockin though. Very cool scene

I love that I don't feel like I'm suffocating as I walk in.  And that I can see outside.

The owner is very friendly.  He greets you with a, "Hey, my friend!"

They have a check-in offer for one free soda.
They have good flavors (get Snow White).
They will turn on basketball/baseball games when our favorite teams are playing.
The music selection is perfect and volume isn't too loud.
Decor is pretty basic, but they have some black lights.
    Couches are comfy, but small.

Pretty cool place to come and relax... if hookah is your thing.

This is probably my version of "grabbing a cup of coffee" The place is very easy to find while driving down on beach. When you walk in, the owner greets you and let's you pick out where to sit. He is a really nice guy. For every 2 people, they must have a hookah set. Ex. 4 people=2 hookah sets. You can share between one another. The list has a lot of flavors. Skittles tastes just like skittles, sex on the beach with guava is great! Coal service is excellent! Staff is constantly asking you if you need anything and how things are. Music is good, helps relax while you take a hit. Couple tv's on the wall. Overall, this place is great if you need to relax and let your mind relax. Definitely coming back here. Most likely once a week!

Decent Hookah spot. affordable and the tobacco is not bad. I really like the wooden stands the Hookahs are held up by. I would go back for a smoke in the future.

I am a seasoned hookah smoker, and I couldn't find anything wrong with this place. Good prices, good tobacco, good coals, and comfy seating. That's all I ever want, but they also have food (ooooooo) and great service. I can tell the owner wants to do well, so he's wonderful to customers :) stop in, especially if you're looking for a good hookah vs a gimmicky pricy night club. Oh and they have free wifi, bitchin'.

Hmm, so i drove all the way out there expecting for this place to be good cuz it's rated 5 stars on yelp, but this place absolutely sucked. It was saturday night and no one was there. I had a group of 6 people and they charged 2 people per hookah per table, the room was really small, they were playing Extra on TV,  the area was pretty bad (in the ghetto of anaheim).

So we went to Twilight in fullerton instead which was waaay better.

This is a great hookah bar! Not these pretentious hookah bars that think they're in Vegas or Hollywood with glitz and glam, this is the spot you go to when you want to truly unwind and relax just as you are. The owner, Ray, is one of the most genuine, friend people I've met in quite some time. My wife and I were on our honeymoon, but we wanted to find a legit smoking place in the area. We came across this place, and felt like we hit the jackpot. The coal service was on point, the flavors were delicious and never got harsh (1 bowl about 2 hours) and again, we went as we were and relaxed without nonsense. This hookah bar is simply amazing! We know where to go when we come back to Anaheim, thanks Ray!

This lounge is one of the better ones of the area. The place was clean, spacious, and easy to find. Not many people know of this place so seating is almost always available, even on weekends. The number of flavors are somewhat scarce on the menu but I've found that usually, if it's a Starbuzz flavor you're after, they have it even if it's not posted on the menu.

The owner, Ray, is a very nice guy and most nights he's out on the floor smoking with his buddies and attending to your every need when you walk in. We were seated, had our order taken with a smile, and had the hookah and drinks out in less than 5 minutes. All of the hookahs here are very clean and they all hit with pure flavor. Complimentary "hookah toys" (such as bubbles) are provided upon request. The coal service is also amazing and they never miss a beat. The coal guys here actually understand how to light a hookah and keep it lit so that it never goes harsh. One flavor here lasted for over two hours without dying.

The only potential con to this place would be the prices. They're a little on the high side but more than worth it for the great quality of the hookahs and service.  They also have a couple TV shows on while the latest pop music plays over the speakers with synced lights.  If you are epileptic you might want to be wary of this lounge.  They have strobe lights that go off most of the time and this might trigger a seizure.  Overall it's a great place to come hang out and smoke.

the place is very traditional, and very spacious.  the hookahs hit good, but the flavors are somewhat limited.

TVs and music are available (we were playing new school arabic music when were there)

if you're going to keep it traditional however, please steer away from the quick light coals.   otherwise, pretty solid place with decent hookahs

I've been to several in Orange County but this, by far, ranks the best I've ever been to and here's why....

The service was excellent. There was someone to greet you and seat you when you walk in. I believe it was the manager himself that took our order and being that it was our first time there, he gave us the specials. The coal service was awesome. He was always on top of his game and knew what he was doing cause he was real good at it; our hookah was hitting real nice all night. There was always someone coming by to check up on us seeing if we needed anything to drink or whatever...

The music was awesome. I hate going to hookah lounges and hearing techno the entire night. I want to relax... not feel like I'm at a rave. The music was environment-appropriate... very relaxing and current.

The flavors were great too. The manager gave us three options of the most popular flavors.... and they were amazing :)

Would I come back again? Definitely. In fact, my cuhz and I came back the following night and still had a great experience.

Just left this lounge right now, I have been to many hookah lounges, this was a nice place.

The service..the coal service was excellent.  He was very attentive and changed our coals regularly and the other workers would come back from time to time and checked up on us to see if everything was good, or if we needed anything.

Unlike the bay area..where I am from, the people would start pushing people out by 1:30, when they close at 2 am.  At this lounge we stayed till about 2:30am and they were never pushy one making us leave out the door.  Which was great, because we deff got our moneys worth.

I would come back, if and when I return to So Cal.

Just went here for the first time with my dad, and we LOVED it.
The manager (Ray, I think is his name), was so sweet. He kept making sure everything was okay, asking if we needed anything else, and kept good conversation to make us comfortable. The music is a little loud, but you get over it pretty quickly.
It was my dad's first time smoking Hookah, and Ray made it really a good first experience. I'll be coming back here from now on.
Also, unlike MOST Hookah places, this one DOESN'T make you pay for food, and they're really cheap compared to other places.
They even have cards and games for you to play while you're smoking. It was really fun. We love you Ray!

Great hookah.  Excellent service....wish they had cocktails.
Got here about 9:30, but did not get busy until 11:00.  Good crowd, very relaxing and friendly and attentive staff.  Will definitely return if I am in the area.

I've been to many many hookah "lounges" back in the day, and it's been a couple of years since I've been to one, but this one is by far the best place I've been to.

The service is impeccable. I'm not sure if he's the owner, but he's the older guy with the son that's there also. He was extremely nice and a sweet old man.

The place closes at 3, usually near closing time at any place they start trying to push people out. A couple came in around 2:30 and they still served them.

If this place wasn't so far I'd go more often

The hookah is always perfect, from the extensive list of flavors to the never ending coal refills, this place is one of the best hookah cafes in Orange County. Everyone is so nice and attentive. The owner welcomes you right upon entry and each person that works there ensures each customer 5 star service every visit. It makes the 45 minute drive completely worth it!

It was my first time here a couple days ago. It's a Wednesday night so it was pretty empty. I was referred by a friend so I decided to check it out. The vibe was cool, good music and the couches are sooo comfy! I had one of their special mixes with different berries and mint. It was yummy! Carlos was our server, he was on point with getting us more coals and blowing out our bowl, we didn't have to ask. They serve sandwiches and stuff but I didn't get to try it. All in all, I enjoyed my time there and I would definitely go back again.

I haven't really been in an indoor hookah lounge but this place has certainly changed my mind about indoor venues. I didn't seem overwhelmed by the smoke at all. This particular location is nice because it doesn't get too packed (at least not yet), and they change your coals just when you are about to think they need to be changed.

They have a variety of flavors here, I really liked their blue mist and can't go wrong with any of their fruit flavors. There are lots of lounge chairs, black lights, tvs everywhere, decent to good music (which is a surprise compared to other places). The bathrooms are freakishly clean--almost like crazy asyulm ward clean! They have a pretty decent sized menu even though we didn't try anything on it.

The location isn't the best... off of Beach street, the high traffic at night means lots of deer in the headlight moments throughout the night. We even saw a barrage of cop cars respond to some crime scene down the street. Neither of these surprise me.

I would like to give this place a 5 but they require that every two people get 1 hookah. It was excessive to us when we had a party of 6 and 2 of the 6 aren't even heavy hookah smokers. The same scenario occurred when it was 4 of us and 1 of us isn't a heavy hookah smoker either. I think the price is reasonable to overlook this but it still is a big "sigh" when I bring new people here. I understand that they have to make money somehow but I can see it turning off people when they are thinking about going here (I guess this is a standard for most, if not all hookah places?). Oh... and if we're paying for these required hookah, at least give us the option to pay by card, not cash only...

i have been to many hookah bars- san diego, la, las vegas, etc.. and this is by-far one of the best. actually, there's only 1 other one i have enjoyed as much.

i just got back from my visit to mazaj with my boyfriend and another couple. it's easy to find, as there is a large sign that is visible from the street. inside, there is plenty of seating and the couches are super comfy. we ordered 2 hookahs- a kiwi and a mixed berry. both were very good.. we stayed 2.5 hours and they were still running strong! we had trouble getting one of them started, and we were immediately helped. everyone was super attentive and were regularly checking on us and bringing fresh coals. the cheesecake and chocolate cake were freakin' delicious.

what enticed us to make our visit were the other 2 reviews and the 8.99 special for february. the guy told us that once the special ends, they will have that price as a student discount. sweet!
aside from the special, even the regular prices are awesome. the hookahs range 10.50-13 bucks... i have paid $20-25 other places. the food and drinks on the menu are also very reasonably priced.. where else can you get a $3 delectable dessert?!?! only wished they served alcohol ;)

mazaj has only been open about a month- but they should do just fine continuing with the great service! i will definitely be back.

Driving up the street, you immediately notice the black lights and large TV's.  Mazaj has a lot of space in comparison to most hookah lounges.

They list 50 available flavors. I had the double apple with a coffee. Great service. I'll definitely go back.
