Having gone to school in DC and seen the debauchery that occurs at the McFadden's located on GW's campus, I can say this Fads holds its own.  It's almost comical how similar McFadden's everywhere are, but I guess it's par for the course with massive chain bars.  It's not a bad first stop to get cheap drinks in before moving on to better bars RVC has to offer.

We went on a Friday night. Whoever the DJ was - was awesome. Couldn't stop dancing!

There are no locks on the girl's bathroom stalls, so ladies, go with a wing girl to hold that sucker shut.

And also, there's a $20 minimum on cards, ICK!

Young crowd, can get a little rowdy.  A loud party atmosphere.  Good for dancing

McFadden's is definitely a spot to check out on the weekend. The atmosphere is great, the music is on point, the staff is hella cool. I've been there about 3-4 times now and each time was a different, but very cool experience.

The last time I went was on St. Patty's Day and had a blast. Every time I go, I happen to meet very cool people. I hung out with the bouncers, met some nice girls, got my dance on..I had the time of my life. If you happen to be in Rockville Centre and hit up McFadden's, trust me, you will too.

I strolled into Mc Faddens on a Saturday night with my friend looking to have a fun night without the hassle of going to the City. It was after midnight and they charged a $5.00 cover. Coat check seems to be mandatory for men, but if you are a lady, you can get away without paying.

Let's just say Mc Fadden's EXCEEDED my expectations...

Was I disturbed by the man on top of the bar grinding to the music? Heck No!
Did I care that everyone was faaaaded beyond belief? Heck No!

The crowd is not that diverse as a previous yelper mentioned, but come here on a Saturday and you will have a good time! The DJ played a nice mixture of Hip Hop & House, but by the end of the night everything sounds the same lol. The bartender did a great job on the drinks and was not stingy with the alcohol at all.

I had such a good time that my friend and I are STILL talking about it!

I Came here on a Friday night (well Saturday morning ) and it was absolutely packed!!!

The music was good....a real mix of Hip hop, top 40, pop, house....little bit of old school early 2000's.

We had a $15 fish bowl in a pitcher.  I was already drunk when I got here from previously partying in Astoria, so as I was sipping on the red juice I kept pushing it away.  It was good....it tasted like the homemade punch that people make at house parties that is supposed to "creep up on ya" except that as I just mentioned I didn't have as much as I should have to allow that effect to take place (if any effect were going to tale place).  Come to think of it, if you've ever been to Wet Willies in S.Beach it tasted like Call-a-Cab!

    Anywho....

The crowd was 95% white  which was cool, but I honestly CRAVE a diverse crowd when I'm out parlaying and dancing....its all good though cuz my as long as I'm wit someone special who cares (just saying).

McFaddens looks small from the outside, but once you get in it's totally sardine-d from wall to wall, and even on the bar top you'll catch occasional drunkies swayin and shakin their asses.

I give this place four stars because it's really a bumping bar.  I can't usually give a spot less than four stars if its clean, has music, has dancing people, and cheap drinks.

Let's just say I probably would only return here if I was again tipsy*, and to my fellow homies who I know personally-- I would only suggest the same. It's easier (for me) to enjoy this type of place/atmosphere under a little bit of influence.  Guess you will have to find out for yourself!!

*McFaddens is conveniently located across the street from the RVC LIRR train station  so please DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE I AM NOT CONDONING THAT IN ANY WAY!!!

oh and one last thing i forgot to mention is they do mandatory coat check, and it's two bux!

Went to McFadden's on a Saturday night for a friend's Halloween weekend birthday. $5 cover, reasonable, DJ's song selection could have been a little better but not bad, drinks were made well and I was relieved when I saw that this place wasn't packed to the brim. We could actually move! It's very much a dancing bar, which for me is a plus.

The only cons of this place are that the prices change depending on the customer....lame. Went up to a female bartender and bought a drink that she recommended for $10, my boyfriend went back and ordered the same thing and he had to pay $12. If you want guys to pay more, than just up the cover for men, don't hike up the prices of drinks. And although prices for the most part are reasonable here, you're only paying for 1/3 of a cup since they cram the little plastic cups with ice, so in reality you're getting ripped off. We had a good time here, but unless another birthday girl decides to go here for her birthday I won't be returning. There's better bars on Long Island than this.

We often frequent this place on Wednesday nights for their $1 beer special.
It's not a bad looking bar. Clean, neat, big booths with bright red cushions, and a long bar. The booths are huge and spacious, enough to fit 3 bulky guys, 1 regular size guy, and 2 girls.  There's a dance area right after the wall of booths, but no one is ever bumping and grinding before 11.

The service is pretty good. We get our drinks in a quick and they clear up the empty mugs from your table in good time.
The bouncer is a little annoying. He kept reading allowed details of people's license out loud.
"Oh you don't look 5'3'', you got a growth spurt?"
It's called high heels dude, speaking of which let me in so I could sit my ass down!
One of the bartender was kind of a creeper who kept hitting on my girlfriend. See Adam V.'s review for more details.

The DJ was pretty cool and he took our requests. We requested Ke$ha and he payed her entire album. Awesome!

Nice place to get out of the house in the middle of the week to kick back with a couple of beers. This place is definitely more laid back than Kasey's; it also have less guidos and guidettes.

McFadden's has a lot of good deals. Go check it out!

Tues- Half price fish bowls (think they are regularly  $15 )

    Wed- $1 mug night

    Thurs- Ladies Night-ladies drink free

Fri- $2 Drafts, $3 Call Drinks and $4 Martinis from 4 to 9pm!

Sat- The Dirty Disco ~$2 Coors Light Bottles till 11pm!
$4 Three Olive Cocktails ALL NIGHT!

FREE DRUNK FOOD BUFFET FRIDAY + SATURDAY AT 2AM!

    The drinks:
$1 beers on Wednesdays are good. They offer Miller Light, Bud Light, and regular Budweiser. I prefer the Miller Light for its mild taste. I've never tried any mixed drinks here though. The bar food is somewhat overpriced as well.

    The place:
The staff is attentive, we got our drinks quickly. They frequently remove the empty mugs from the table which is a plus since they add up quickly.
The staff might need some sensitivity training or at least some sexual harassment training. My ample bosom'd friend was wearing a tight pink shirt and a bartender made a racy remark after he had observed a black gentleman that had wanted to dance with her. He had said "Be careful, that guy just got out of prison for raping girls that wear pink shirts!" I find this to be completely unacceptable because number 1, it is racist, and number 2, it is just a stupid and insensitive thing to say. There is also this wisecracking bouncer who makes a comment about everything on your license (I'm sorry, I don't need everyone there to know the details on my license). The DJ was attentive to our requests and the bar staff was really trying to engage the patrons which I would say is admirable.

    Conclusion:
Nice place to chill with cheap beers on Wednesday. There are usually a lot of cops in the area so I'd say watch your behavior on the streets and make sure you have a designated driver (I hear they are fast to write tickets for public drunkenness) There is also fights out front occasionally. All-in-all I would say this place deserves to be checked out. Don't go in expecting too much though.

WARNING: Review based on Sunday brunch alone!

I decided to try out McFadden's for their ridiculously awesome sounding brunch on a rather uneventful Sunday afternoon. We rolled in at around 1pm to a pretty empty bar and I have to admit ... I was VERY concerned. The place was empty, save for a few females chatting and a friendly bartender. We were on time for our 1pm brunch plans, but other members of our party were running late. They let us begin our brunch mimosas (unlimited) and we had finished one when the rest of our party had showed up.

McFadden's is definitely a perfect spot to watch a game at - TONS OF FLAT SCREEN TVS. Unfortunately this Sunday lacked any thing worthwhile (besides the Yankees/Tigers game) so that was disappointing. 2 of us got the "Dublin Berger" - big beef patty on a nice bun with cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, applewood smoked bacon, and an onion ring. Another one opted for the bacon, cheese, and egg sliders - without the bacon. The boyfriend just wanted a plain burger with only onion rings, but for some reason that never turns out right. Instead he got a burger smothered with cheese and fried onions which they promptly corrected. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time (I mean, we were pretty much the only ones in the place) and our drinks were never empty. I have to admit - the food was surprisingly good.

As for service - both the bartender and manager were extremely hospitable. We wound up having a really good time with that brunch. For $14 I really have nothing to complain about. A huge burger, about 10 mimosas (or I could have opted for Coors Light or a bloody mary), and great service. I'm looking forward to hitting this spot up in the future. I've always had a good time at the various McFadden's I've been to (Citifield, Washington D.C.) so I guess I knew that this one wouldn't disappoint me either.

I couldn't hear anyone talk, I stood in some sticky substance, and I paid $18 for two thimble sized shots.

I'd rather fist pump myself in the face than go back.

I've only been to Mcfaddens twice but both times there was an ample supply of Long Island Bros. Lots of white button downs.

My favorite part about Mcfaddens is the fact that girls in sweatpants and flipflops dance on the bar. It adds a certain amount of class that is very rare to come by in Rockville Centre.

My second favorite part about McFaddens is also it's downfall. The mens bathroom has a bowl of lollipops on the counter. The womens bathroom does not. I feel as though Mcfaddens discriminates against women by NOT offering them candy. If their goal is to get girls to lurk outside the mens bathroom (that has a line) waiting for someone to bring them a lollipop then they succeeded. I was waiting. Hawking. Mcfaddens wins.

It's like being at a bar mitzva for old people.
