Shakers

My boyfriend and I were looking for a good local place to watch the hockey game and after checking out Yelp, I found Shakers. We stopped by around 8pm to watch the game, have a couple of beers and eat.

Shakers has THE BEST seating area around with big comfy leather couches, ottomans, tables and fans in front of big screen TV's. We were greeted by a very sweet bartender/waitress named Brittany (sorry if I spelled it wrong) who very nicely described the different beers on tap for my boyfriend and also put the hockey game on both of the TV's in front of us.

We each ordered burgers and beers and we ended up staying until almost 2am when they were closing. The burgers were great, the beers were cold, the entire bar/restaurant was comfortable and there is also an outside area to hang out or smoke.  

I would recommend this place to anyone of any age. Whether you're with friends, co-workers, family or on a date...this place is great.

Boyfriend was in the mood for burgers on a Saturday afternoon and I wasn't wanting to eat at the 'Guys...wanted something different.  Hopped on Yelp to scope out a new place to try when I stumbled upon Shakers.  After several people labeling their burgers as the "best they ever had", I HAD to give it a shot.

Man, am I ever so grateful I gave this place a shot.  I remember past incarnations of this bar but never imagined I would go there for such a juicy, flavorful burger!  

Boyfriend & I each got the Super Cheesy Burger, name sure is appropriate but at the same time just the right amount.  The cheese basically flowed out the sides onto the platter, which allowed me to scrape it up with my perfectly crispy french fries.  The bun on the burger was soft with just a little toasting on the inside.  Burger patty was thick, perfectly cooked - pink on the inside with a slight crust formed on the outside of the meat.  It was wonderful.  Burgers also served with a large pickle, ample amount of shredded lettuce & 2 slices of tomato.

Staff was also very attentive and friendly.  Female bartender took care of us when we were seated at a table and checked up on us, let us know that the burgers were homemade & made of high quality meat.  Cook also came out to check on us and to ensure we were enjoying our food.  

Will be back in the future!

Fourth time @ shakers.
Service - great every time, whether the place is busy or not.
Food - have had the buffalo burger 3 x's and its consistently good.
Drinks - the only reason why I gave it 4 and a 5. The beer selection is adequate at best.
