McGivney's Sports Bar & Grill

Best place in the valley for food!  The burgers are handmade and huge.  The gyros are authentic with the best tzatziki sauce I have ever had, very garlicky.  The fries are hand cut and delicious.  Their nightly specials are phenomenal, I had a huge pork chop with cheesy polenta and an apple chutney.  The halibut and chips were exceptional, large pieces of halibut for only $15!  By far the best fish n chips in Juneau.   Very reasonable prices (not sure how they can charge so little) and the staff is very friendly.  Can't wait to try the breakfast on Sunday morning with the bloody mary bar and football!

Staff was fantastic - very attentive and friendly. Great menu - not too many items bit enough to pick from. I had the halibut and chips - huge pieces of fish! Fries we home cut - yum! The wings looks awesome. Lots of TV's with football on. Very busy on a Thursday night... But found a spot bellied up to the bar without a wait. As a  traveling business person, I was pleased with this local hot spot and would definitely return!
