Terrible service and the food was yucky! Cold and dry chicken...

Have been twice and think it is pretty good.  Service was excellent (perhaps they've read the yelp reviews and had some serious "sit down and come to Jesus " conversations with their staff... Can't say too much bc I ordered the same thing both times: tri tip sandwich, which was excellent.  Sadly my friend Jeff ordered the fish tacos (I know, I know...it's a BBQ place)...but he specifically made a point to ask how they were and even added a "really???" when the waitress said they were good.  Verdict?  Don't order fish tacos in a BBQ joint: no seasoning...bummer.  My kids were enthralled by all the mounted animal heads that are everywhere...depending on their imagination this could go either way.  In any case, we've been told of another BBQ place in Templeton that we will check out next time...apparently they, too, sport the stuffed animal head decor...and might just have better food.

Good food and great service. My husband and I had no idea that the restaurant closed at 9:00 pm and we sat at our table talking until 9:45 and they never asked us to leave : ) The waitress was very attentive.
