Went for lunch...The chicken pot pie is yummy. The apple crumble is delish- they serve it with big dollop whip cream. The whole place smells delicious!!  The one star short of five is for it's service- it's a bit slow but probably because they are so busy making pies but definitely be patient and try it!!

Just had the best lunch I may have ever had. Chicken pot pie better than I've ever had. Chocolate chip cookies rivaling my homemade chocolate chip elephant ear cookies. Husband's panini was perfect. Salad as fresh and piquant as I'd ever want. And service that was warm and friendly--despite there being a huge party taking up three large pushed together tables. Just great!

Talk about great pie! I bring Me Oh My Pies to New York City for family holidays and everyone raves about them. They are also my go to dessert when I have company.
I love this place. Such lovely lunches. My favorite is the fresh roasted turkey sandwich. The owner, who I heard was an opera singer at one time, adds lots of theater and warmth to the restaurant. I have gone many times...always delicious! Excellent $10 dinners too! Amazing for this area!

In general, I am not a pie lover, but the multi-berry Me-Oh-My pie completely won me over. Absolutely full of berries--whole berries, not the mush you find in most pies, an amazingly light crust, and just the right amount of sweetness--not too much. And the chocolate mousse pie?  It left me speechless :)

Chili was Luke warm, tuna melt was soggy.  Cookies were great!

I went there for lunch today for the first time.  I am sure I will go back.  It was a charming, wonderful spot to stop for a mid-week lunch.  The owner was super sweet and friendly as soon as I walked in.

I loved selection on the lunch menu, despite the name of the place being tempted, I did not order the pot pie.  I had a bowl of pureed vegetable soup which was so flavorful and two "bites." Bites are small crostini types toppped with various things, you can order two to go with your soup (plus more for extra $).  It was the perfect size lunch. Finished off with coffee and a cookie and I know I will be back.

There was also a brunch and dinner menu which looking intriguing...

Good pie. Service? Not so good.

I'm knocking off a star (would've given this 3) but numerous times I've decided not to come here because of how unfriendly and unhelpful the service is--primarily because of the owner and the snarky, anti-customer tone they've established. The owner sometimes sits with a laptop near the counter, scowling and ignoring patrons. The employees seem sad. This is the kind of small business that you want to succeed, because the food is good, but the owner needs stick to to her strengths--ie, baking--and hire someone else to manage the staff and counter.

"Best Pie in The World". Is their slogan.  Good thing because the service is terrible.  Specifically went based on the recommendations by friends who raved about their pot pies.   Got there at 2 on a Sunday.  Took twenty minutes for someone to say hello.  Pot pie was unavailable. Errrr!   Ordered sandwiches and potato salad.  Out of potato salad. Errrr!   Iced tea? Sorry ran out. Wait while we brew more. Errr!  Finally the waitress, who told us she attends nearby Bard College, brought our our sandwiches.  The meatloaf on a Kaiser was good.  My girlfriend said that the vegetarian sandwich with avocado was excellent.  Yay!  We ordered pie, of course.  The cranberry zest was really good as was the pumpkin. Yay!    All in all, I think that I would give it another try - when the pot pie is available.

Rooting around for comfort food on a drizzly friday afternoon in the Rhinebeck area I stumbled upon Oh Me Oh My Pies in neighboring Redhook. Swooned when in front of the pie case full of nostalgic faves. Strawberry Rhubarb brought me back to my aunts Connecticut front porch. But wait that was only desert. To start I had a delicious and savory chicken pot pie. Great espresso and got pie to bring back for the family!

The chicken pot pie is fantastic. The pastry! SO GOOD. I also tried the chocolate cream pie, which didn't do much for me, although there was certainly nothing wrong with it.

Great coconut cream pie and cappucino. Definitely coming back to try their more savory options.

Saw most of the yelpers' reviews of this shop...... chicken pot pies seems like a "must have"!  However, they were out of their chicken pot pies when we got there a quarter to 3(they close at 3) last Sunday afternoon.  So, I tried their beef pot pie instead.... a pretty good looking pie was served in front of me......  big chucks of beef & tasty sweet onion sauce mixed with the prefect crust..... GOOD EAT!  Their pecan pies is another "must have" item!

Yaaaay, real food in Red Hook!  This charming liittle place offers delicious, simple, food in an unpretentious cafe atmosphere.  Rather than a huge menu that offers a wide range of thoughtlessly prepared junk (which, sadly, is characteristic of most places in Red Hook) this place offers a smaller range  delicious, carefully put together items--chicken pot pie that makes you scrape the bowl, shrimp chowder that makes you want to order more, freshly baked baguette--all fabulous. This is a lovely place.

I bought a huge apple pie once from this place. I guess it was a reasonable price. What matters is that it tastes good!
The only problem is that it is only open at certain days and time. It would be more convenient if it expanded to other days.
