Went on a wine tasting tour of Alexander Valley with the specific goal of joining another wine club, and researched wineries with sustainability as a priority.  I am giving this four stars for the wine, and we did join the wine club as a result.  For the price, the wine is a five star; for any price, four.  The tasting room is beautiful, as is the landscaping. Grapes mostly grown in a hot area of the valley, leading to great tasting wine, even with a non-notable vintner.

For the bad news, the customer service was AWFUL, as described below in several reviews.  I will admit that by the time we got there, we may have been a little tipsie, however, as a group of (at least in our minds) still hip fifty year old women, we expected not to be ignored or treated like we didn't belong there. The young, hip, snobbish women working the tasting room should probably realize that fifty year old women rolling up in a chartered Navigator are exactly the people likely to be dropping a lot of cash at a winery and joining a wine club, just saying.  I guess that making money is not a priority for this winery, given that it's owned by hedge fund managers.  Still, it would be great if they could have their wine room experience match their wine, which was REALLY, REALLY good for the price.  Go there for the wine, but be prepared for the bad service!

This is kind of a hidden gem in Alexander Valley. If you don't know it, it's hard to spot, so you should be thankful to Yelp. They have great wines, super friendly service, a lovely patio in the back and cheese and crackers to pair with the wine. Definitely a place to stop by.

Sounds like the same jerk as described below was there a year ago.  My wife and I were traveling through Napa and Sonoma -- I was wine tasting, she was the designated driver.  The place was empty, but we had heard good things about the wine.  The guy there said they weren't accepting the Visa Signature deal, but would give me two tastings for the price of one -- as I said, my wife wasn't drinking, and I'm not sure tasting through about a dozen wines or more would treat my head well later in the day -- so we left. What a business model!
