What a lovelly tasting bar and giift shop! Â Four of us were strolling the square on our way to dine at Bravas (which was excellent in all areas btw), and decided to stop in Seasons (Ferrari Carano) for a tasting. Â We were met with smiles from both ladies pouring that day, Â and Aleisha was both informative about the wines and engaging in personality. Â She even gave my husband and I a taste of the more full-bodied reserve Chardonnay we have always been so fond of. Â The ambience is beautiful and offers a wide range of unique, high quality gift items. Â Pay them a visit!!
Review Source:I wanted to stop in here because the guy at Hanna had mentioned Ferrari-Carano in conversation and I saw that this place served tastings of it. Â We went in and were not disappointed. Â The atmosphere is a bit eclectic with odd decorations and knick knacks everywhere. Â The guy serving us was really nice and let me try a few again that I couldn't decide between. Â I ended up buying two bottles of Zin from here and enjoyed them immensely when I got back to DC.
Review Source:I was so delighted walking around the square to find Ferrari-Carano finally at a place that wasn't such a far drive.
I walked in alone to find the server behind the bar quite friendly and anxious to help in a non overbearing and intensely helpful way. She was pleasant and full of smiles informing that they had opened officially only two weeks ago.
I knew exactly what bottles I wanted and promptly ordered them after hearing what was available and perusing the list. She asked several times if I was sure I didn't want to taste (who often turns up wine they love for free?), but I had friends outside and told them I was only popping in for a "bit" so I tried to be quick.
I can't wait to go back and see what gifts they have and to try some of Prevail's wine that is also stocked there.
I give it full stars for friendliness and efficiency of service, I mean, I already know the wine is great!
