Melita's Motel & Cafe

Went this morning for breakfast before heading out to Crater Lake. I was expecting greasy diner food and weak coffee and that's exactly what I got. The portions were huge, and completely adequate.

My husband and I appeared to be one of only two tables of non-locals. You could spot us by our REI/North Face attire. Everyone else was dressed in some form of camo and knew either the servers or the other patrons. The staff treated us warmly and the food delivered in a matter of minutes. Really, great service.

On a two week RV caravel travel trip thru out OR and CA we were in a very dense area and very hungry! This was a GREAT stop for a perfect breakfast!  All 11 of us had very enjoyable meals!

Been coming here for years and their food is very good but not necessarily exceptional. However, recently they added pizza to their menu and it is both great, massive in size and very well priced. Some of the best pizza in the Klamath Basin. Highly recommended!
