Memories

It's a dive bar.  "DIIIIIVE BAR".   Dance floor, DJ, liquor, dark and full of smoke.  Wut more could you ask for in a dive bar.  The staff is cool, the customers are friendly.  It's a mix of young and old and let's face it, there just aren't a lot of good dive bars on the South Side.  

You will smell like smoke.  You will not know what the girl you're hitting on really looks like.  But you will not break the bank drinking there and your assured a reasonably good time.

I'll probably make some enemies with this review as the manager is in our circle of friends... I'll probably be called pretentious... I'll probably get dirty looks... But it seriously has to be done.

I know the Southside is kind of country still... And I understand that that it's probably about 10 years behind the times to say the least... But you have great properly values that are only going up!!!

So, can we not get a decent bar down there? Maybe with some decent seating... Without little legal 'gambling' machines lined against the wall?

And do you think that you could just have some kind of music playing instead of trying to overcompensate with a less than decent DJ and a dance floor larger than 2' x 2'?

And do you think that you can not offer body shots on the bar counter?

But, if you like dive bars and you want to be entertained by the sheer insanity of some people... I highly recommend this place. I just don't see how people go more than once a month.
