Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse

The food is pretty good but the service is not the best. They've gotten a little better over the years, but service could still be better. I will not complain too much as the food is very reasonably priced so sometimes I just ignore that whole good service thing. I definitely wouldn't drive out of my way to come here, but because I work so closely I go here.

This place has good food but bad service. The chef's are great but the wait time is ridiculous. I've been twice and both times we waited more than 45 minutes for the chef to come out with a 30 minute wait for drinks. We only stayed because we were starving. The manager was gracious enough to take a percentage off of our bills. It's sad because as I stated the food was good both times

This steakhouse is one of a kind. The best steakhouse in the southside area, fun staff, and has celebrity customers such as Andre 3000, T.I., AND Waka Flocka. Tokyo has changed their management a couple of times within the past years but is aggressively getting better. They don't have a high Asian ethnicity of staff like they use to. Tokyo is a hibachi restaurant like every other.

When you enter there is a beautiful wooden slight bridge that you walk on with coy fish swimming around.

You have to try the Geisha and Ashley Roll. They also have a hibachi dish you can buy for $36.00 that includes 3 sides of meat, rice, soup and salad for 2 people. They also have a lunch special everyday of they week for $9.99.
