  Cheap and better pizza than any of the chains for sure... I mean really cheap.  Delivery times can get high but you can get two of these pizzas for the price of one of Jimano's.

  Place is Great. Not a fan of the moron answering the phone...Typical kid with almost no phone etiquette....The girl is always nice. The pizza is the best. Its cheap and its so good. Delivery time is insane but its soooo worth it.

  For the price and taste, this is a great place.Bacon pizza with extra cheese!!!!!!!Make sure if youre planning on delivery,you call 5 days ahead,they do take their time.

  I have to put my two cents in about Mike's. It is the best pizza for the $$$ that you will find anywhere. I got turned on to this place a few years ago by some coworkers when I was working in the area. What a find! This pizza is good and thin and priced so cheap that you think they screwed up the bill. I always call in for carry out. This place gets very busy. No dining in.

  This is our neigborhood pizza. This is not a restaurant - only carry out. Very cheap, but it doesn't mean it's bad. The pizza is pretty good if not very good at times. Always a line outside, especially on the weekend. Could be hard to find as it's in residential area - use GPS. If I don't have much money and I want pizza - this is where I go.

  I have to admit I laugh every time I go or drive by this place as it is so out of place in the neighborhood.  Right in the middle of this residential setting is this short squat brick building with Mike's Pizza in front and it looks like it has been there for ages and all the houses were built around it.
  
  The pizza itself is very good.  A nice crispy thin crust with a distinct smoke flavor.  I really like the smoke taste.  The pizzas are cheap, about $7.30 for a 16" one-topping.  
  
  There is no place to sit down at all, this is not a restaurant, so you have to pick it up (recommended) or have delivery.

  I have eaten here ever since I can remember. It is so cheap and pretty darn good.
  
  With that said, lately the pizza is hit or miss. I think it is because they have quite a few new people working there and the owner isnt there as much as he used to be. I try to eat here a few times a year when I visit my mom.
  
  Although hit or miss, this place is still the best pizza in Waukegan. Waukegan isnt the best place for anything let alone restaurants but this place is a true gem.

  This is the worst cheap pizza in Waukegan. Again, Lake County residents do not know a thing about real pizza. Living in Chicago most of my life I think I know a few things about good pizza, and this crap certainly isn't it. It's so greasy, and the crust is like paper. Totally a waste of time and money.

  So you are asking why i don't give this place 5 stars, since i own a mikes 40th anniversary t shirt? It's awesome and part of my childhood, but they are definatly hit or miss. Sometimes your pizza is great, sometimes its okay. I don't know if this is because they are so busy or what but regardless its my favorite place to come to in wauekgan. And you can't beat the prices! But i highly do not recommend delivery, your better off pickin it up. i don't know if they don't have any driver's or what!?
