I decided to give this place a shot but I regret it. Â It just looks so odd to me. Â The way it's set up doesn't give off the right flow, especially for a bar. Â There was live music, which was cool but it was in the corner and the place was so dark. Â It was like an abandoned garage that a high school student broke into and threw a party. Â The tables and chairs were not comfortable at all. Â They are the metal ones with the holes in them. Â As a girl, I hate getting those marks on the back of my legs. Â Doesn't help that it was pretty cold so the cold metal just made it worse. Â
There's a room upstairs, not sure if it's like a VIP section all the time, but there was a private party going on so idk. Â But those people sure acted like they owned the bar, I mean whoop de fricken doo.
The employees were wearing regular t-shirts so it was hard to tell who was one and who wasn't. Â The waitresses had uniforms on but some of them looked odd to me. Â Like they rolled out of bed but put on way too much make-up so it just didn't match. Â I couldn't even bring myself to order a drink because I just wanted to leave, but my cousin wanted to stay so I suffered there. Â
The food is fricken horrible too. Â Talk about frying in old oil. Â Idk I'd never go back here nor recommend to go here. Â It's one of those bars that a person would go to if they were friends with the owner or someone who worked there. Â And might I add, everyone in there was probably more than twice my age so it was a little awkward.
Being a regular, loyal or a friend of the owner would be the only reason you would give this place a decent rating or continue going there. I am giving it 1 star because yelp doesn't give me the option of nothing. Customer service lousy, the girls take too long to acknowledge customers and once they do they are cordial enough however by then  irritation has already set in. Turn over on orders  averages 20-30 minutes and that's not even the peak hours.
I've given this place a chance for redemption numerous times. No dice...Not interested anymore.
While the location is primo, atmosphere is good and its a solid alternative to the shack... drinks are heavily overpriced, I mean seriously, who put Samuel Adams and Bud Platinum on the 'imports' list? Just so you can get an extra dollar? Not to mention service is slooooooow, I asked to close my tab and it took nearly a half an hour to pay my bill, not to mention I asked for it 3 times. Had they not held my card I would have walked out without a second thought. Sorry mill but two nights in a row of slow service for overpriced drinks is enough for me, I'll be looking elsewhere to spend my hard earned money
Review Source:If you are not local, then please head my warning. Do not go to this placE!! I used to love this place when it was Waldo's pizza. Now it has changed to a beer joint. The locals are not friendly at all to the other people of different color on the Island. Hawaiian people are the most genuine and friendly, but not at this place...Stay away!!!!
Review Source:I've been here a few times. Most times it aint even busy. Honestly food and service isn't great at all. Ordered garlic fries and it was mushy. Ordered chicken wings and I got small pieces of something that didn't look like normal wings. Ordered a bottled beer and it took over half an hour.
Food - Isn't great at all. Don't know what is good here.
Service - Even when it isn't busy, getting your drink takes forever.
Overall - I'd say go to the Shack instead which is in walking distance. Better food and service.
I've given this place a few chances on different occasions and they just dont seem to rise to the occasion. The service is really slow although the menu is really small...drinks take way longer then they should to get to the table. The food isnt good at all...the only thing decent to me is the BLT pizza. Other then that, dont bother. There is only beer and soju monster bombs available there. No wines or hard liquor is served. Dont believe me? Try this place for yourself.
Review Source:The food is amazing. Some of the best pizza I've had beside Brick Oven, etc. at 5:45 in the afternoon it wasn't busy, but our server was ridiculously slow. A guy who seemed more like the supervisor was the only one who helped us. He brought our drink refills and he delivered all of our food. The waitress proceeded to give us out check. (You're working in a bar, if you want to make money you need to work for it. The more outgoing you are, and the better personality you have the higher amounts of tips you will receive. So sitting on your ass looking "pretty" isn't going to make you shit for money). I tried giving the guy the tip and he refused to take it. Unfair that the "server" gets the tip when she did nothing for us!
Review Source:First of all, when are they gonna shell out for a new sign?? It's been open for so long already and they still have that Waldo's Pizza sign still up -_-. That's not the only thing that needs updating, the whole place is kinda a mess. Looks like a homemade bar set up in someone's garage. They use patio furniture and with that big opening as the entrance, it seriously looks like a garage...
Regardless of the looks, I've been wanting to try out the food from them for a while. Â And one fateful day, I see a coupon for 15% off in the Midweek...u know I can't resist coupons! Â Anyways, after always passing by this place, I already knew I didn't want to eat in...the ambiance is uhhh...yea... so we decided to do take out.
When we got there, there were only a few people at the bar so you figure, how busy could the bartender be? Well we were awkwardly standing there for a few minutes when we finally got her attention she looked up at us like HUH? Â Like that sarcastic "can I help u guys?" look. Â And it was just the look, she didn't even say anything. Â So we asked her if she had menus and she told us they're over there and pointed. Â Then we had to help ourselves to some menus and took a look. Â
After we decided, we were waiting for a while again and then an actual waitress finally came out and asked us if we wanted to do take out. Â She seemed pretty busy so we made it fast. Â We ordered the spinach and artichoke pizza and some jalapeno poppers. Â Then we showed her the coupon and she had to ask a few people about it, then finally accepted it. Â That's kind of one of my pet peeves; when places dish out coupons and never inform their staff about it so they gotta inconvenience their customers as well as themselves to go find out about it. Â We felt bad too cause she seemed busy since I think she was the only waitress at the time so we gave her a nice tip. Â
The food was alright. Â Not bad but not great either. Â The pizza had very little toppings but the cheese they used was pretty tasty. Â The jalapeno poppers seemed fresh but were pretty bland because it was literally just jalapenos and cream cheese fried...no seasoning or cheese or anything. Â It only came with 4 pieces too. Â I honestly like Jack in the Box's poppers better. Â
My friends like to come here to drink sometimes but honesty, it doesn't look like the most fun place to drink either. Â This place is just as the two stars describes it...MEH.
It was my first time there.
Went on a Friday night around 7:00 it was not busy. And was a chill place to be besides the too busy shack.
I liked the all the TVs all over the place. Also I like that it is not closed off almost as if you sitting under a lanai. If I can remember there were dart boards on the second floor.
The food was OK had some spinach artichoke pizza. It was good not the best but a good change from pizza hut and the only place that I know of in Mililani that makes pizza. And for pupu had some Jalapeno poppers but just seemed like the frozen kine that were re-fried. Also if you looking to drink they only have beer. For me that is not a problem. But if you looking to go with some people that are looking for some mixed drinks they don't serve um.
Service was OK also for how buys they were I felt that the service could have been better, but again it is a bar.
Overall it was OK seemed like a good place for the boys to cruise and watch some sports and drink beer and eat beer food.
June 2 review: I decided to edit my review! Because last night with my friends experience was very good so I decided to come with my boyfriend and daughter the next night. Â So we ordered our pizza the first one was Pepporoni, mushroom and olives the second one was spinach and mushroom. Â We ordered french fries as well for my daughter. The waitress/waiters gave our pizza to another table and they did not even know it until 20 minutes went past and I asked the waitress for our pizza. Why people would eat pizza that they didnt order is beyond me. They appologized and they said the pizza will be right up. When they were bringing me the pizza they realized it was only a pepporoni pizza they forgot to add mushroom and olives. The guy says he will sprinkle some olives on it which he did. The crust was burnt hardley had any cheese and I was so disappointed! The next pizza was even worst! Spinach and mushroom both were RAW the pizza dough was mushy. I sent it back I dont even want it. I believe the cook tonight was differant than last nights cook. SO disappointing.
June 1st review:I thought the Mill did a great job at renovating the place from Waldos. Nice TVs make a good touch. Pizza tastes different from other places it was good. 9 dollars for a good size pizza. The waitress was vert nice. I will come back again.
