Ming Toy Restaurant & Carry Out

We've been searching high and low for a good Chinese place near us, but without much luck. We decided to put it in yelp's hands and try out the highest rated place somewhat near us thinking we'd be impressed.

We ordered beef chop suey and beef lo mien with crab rangoons and chicken egg rolls. While somewhat in expensive compared to other places pretty much everything, except the crab rangoons and egg rolls, lacked flavor and even smelled a bit funny.

We are unfortunately still on our hunt for a good place!

Very small with limited seating...you can tell that carry-out orders are what they primarily do. Not the best place to go if you're bothered by families with several children and potential noise. Food (price and portion) was very good and so was the service.

Grew up around the corner from this joint.
I moved to Colorado from Waukegan about 15 yrs ago and I sorely miss this place.

Favorite dish is the Kung Pao beef. Very spicy the way it should be, just a remarkable sauce.

The Lo Mein is really in a class of its own as well. Outstanding.

Service is generally very good and nice and overall I have to give this place a great score. portion size is immense as well.
