Talk about a great turn around story, this is it. For years this dive of a pub featured a few old men and a liquor store that everyone knew. Few people ate there and although it was a landmark ( or blight) in town, it needed some new blood. Enter Mike Browner and family. The entire place turned around and it started with the food. Better than good bar food at reasonable prices. Beers you can afford to drink- unlike so many chain bars you see too much of everywhere, and great and friendly service. There is a dart league on Monday nights and football packs a crowd as well as just about any other sporting event. Sunday brings a very reasonable brunch. All in all, this is what a neighborhood bar and restaurant should be. Well done!
Review Source:strange place from the outside!  i was extremely worried when i pulled up.  my friends arranged for all of us to go to this place, and i met them for the nfl games on a sunday at around 2:30.  they were all there before me, so i drove up alone & was like what the fuck?-  THIS is the place they chose!???  but gotta say-  just as other reviewer said-  the place is pretty good at what it does!  they have the sunday ticket-  which is required of youire a sports bar.  the tv's-  not all that impressive-  they could def use better/more-  but i guess it was adequate.  bartenders were ok, not great.  food-  pleasantly surprised!-  it was pretty good pub food-  at great prices!!  beer prices pretty bgood too!!  special note:  the wings here are EXCEPTIONAL and cheap!!  theyre huge & delicious!  i ate tons of things-  wings, steak sandwich, onion rings, nachos, fries, pizza, etc etc-  was all pretty good!  they have games and stuff-  darts, etc-  and they held a couple constests that were fun.  i was badly hammered by end of visit & wound up stayin  til like 1:00 am!  had to work next day in philly-  so was tuff.  i stayed at a local ramada inn.  patrons-  some good, some bad-  had bit of local yokel feel which i dont like, but what can you do?-  i was in toms river, nj-  so thats what you were gonna get.  wasnt really a problem tho, altho i did get some shitty looks from one table of guys-  who were steelers fans like me.  i dont think they liked me being on "their turf".-  was a little weird.  also-  i did wind up seeing some people from high school-  i went to TR North before moving to northern nj and then to boston/portland, so that was both good & bad i guess.  i dont like seein people from the past-  it gets a little depressing & weird to me when i see that theyre still fuckfaces, or became fuckfaces, or just plain old suck or whatever.  on the other hand-  i saw a couple people i like(d).  was kinda sad tho to see how some of them looked/acted-  old and burnt out, best days in high school, etc.  Anyway-  im off on a tangent.  the place looks bad from outside, but does good job on inside of bein what its supposed to be-  a sports bar.  would def go back-  esp for the wings-  and it wound up bein an excellent recommendation by my friends.
Review Source:I love this place. Â It has great ambience, a large bar area, and ample table seating. Â It's just the kind of place where you automatically feel comfortable, and isn't that what everyone wants in a bar? Â I hear the food is pretty good, though I have limited myself to liquid nutrition on the occasions I have visited. Â But for the bar itself, five stars.
Review Source:Gotta love the Miracle Pub. Â I have to admit when you first look at the place from the outside it looks like a shady joint. Â Let me assure you it is not! Once you get inside your opinion will change. Â This is probably the cheapest place to eat and drink in Toms River. Â The food is amazing and the drink specials are dirt cheap. Â The servers are fast and friendly. Â When you walk in it's like you never left. Â I would recommend the miracle to anyone looking for a good time on the cheap.
