What a find this was on our recent road trip at north cascades! The short ribs were to die for. To find a Korean restaurant of such quality in the middle of a remote area is just unreal. We went there for both nights while we were staying in the park, and on the second night the cook came out and have us free kimchi and watermelon! Highly recommended!
Review Source:Their short ribs served on a hot plate is finger licking delicious. Never thought I would find that in the remote areas of North Cascades. The owner even gave us free kimchi. Breakfast is good as well. We are only here for two days and already ate there three times. We plan on going tomorrow for breakfast again before we head out. A true gem in the wilderness.
Review Source:Had breakfast sandwiches from here and they were great! There was a nice hunk of ham on them, piling hot, all on a yummy biscuit. Cost $5, everything in this town is over priced so I was happy with a good sized $5 breakfast sandwich. I would go back here again from another egg sandwich. Also, the woman that helped me and cooked my order was very nice and accommodating.
Review Source:This place was a welcome surprise. Â I've done the drive through Marblemount dozens of times and hadn't found a place I'd go back to happily. Â My kids' items from the kids' menu were tasty. Â We tried the gyoza and egg rolls -- both were great. Â My fried rice had yummy fresh zucchini in it. Â Waitress was quite friendly. Â
Decor was fun - a little Asian and a little 1950's-Americana-camping.
LOVED IT! The chef and waitress were friendly and welcoming. Â I had vegetable fried rice and requested all the veggies they had to add; delicious! Nice for a change of pace in the area, which is overrun with burger joints! The restaurant was clean and spacious. Â They have really cool teapots. My friend had a chicken sandwich, which she liked, along with salad bar. Â
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
My buddy and I came in as we were heading out for a backpack (and SOMEone had to make his fantasy draft picks before we headed up the road and out of reception). Â Firstly, the folks were really friendly. Â Second, they were open, which is a nice change of pace for most places in Marblemount this time of year. Â And third, it was dry, which is more than I could say for our trip.
I ordered the pancake breakfast (uploaded a picture), which was good, though I felt like $10 was a big steep for what I got. Â That said, I enjoyed it, and was content when we headed off the grid. Â I feel like this place would be good for lunch/dinner but didn't have a chance to stop on the way back. Â Maybe another time.
Boy was that first Yelper right about this place. Â Was going to stop at the burger place down the road. Â The wife hit yelp saw his posting turned around and went to this place instead. Â We're traveling home on our last day of our camping trip so we were getting food to go. Â We ordered the clubhouse and Fries to split and man was it good. Everything was fresh including fresh cut steak fries. This place is deceiving from the outside, but give it a shot. I promise you won't be disappointed.
