Don't go, don't even try- just turn around and head the other direction...

While in town, spur of the moment kind of thing...we saw the Karaoke sign and stopped in! Wish we hadn't...it's very small inside the bar and weird. The building looks huge on the outside, must be for all the gaming in the back. The bar was small, maybe 5 tables in the whole bar, the stage though was massive! Seriously? For Karaoke? You could put a whole band up on that stage!

Drinks were lame, food was lame and so was the entertainment- pass on this one!

Fun bar with karaoke seven days a week. Be nice to the bartender, she makes awesome drinks and makes you feel welcome. I've been to plenty of bars and for some reason that combo is hard to find in a bartender....odd I know.

I have been going to this place for years. I am always treated like family.  The bartenders, Brandy on Kareoke, the cooks, the employees in the card room and security are all so welcoming! They have the best food in town for the best prices! Their tacos.. YUM!!!  Their prices on drinks is the best in town. They are always accomodating and ready to have some fun!!

On  a particular afternoon the Stalker Club of Redding (S.C.O.R.) made a visit to the bar inside the Casino Club called Monroes.  Upon entering we found the jukebox to be rather loud for the day.  That ended when no one else put money in it.  The bar is laid out great and our bartender Dan was great with service.  We heard the food was great and the beer was cold.  The bar has a great smoking area outside supporting two TV'S.  Main negative we found was the price of beer.  At 3PM we find $3.75  for a bottle beer to rather high.  this does not suit the club for prices.  Overall we rate the bar a 2.5 Six Pack.

Monroe's is truly a hidden gem.  The place would thrive anywhere.  The tacos are without peer, literally.  Ecuadorian influence with a parmesan taco shell.  The staff is very friendly and welcoming.   Its the 215 card demographic but you can't find better hosts.

    Interesting place. . .

The guy playing guitar for me also plays in Madside  who play[ed] here quite often.  Tiny little space, and I permanently lost some of my hearing because of it,  but I had fun.

Stiffy's a great bartender and all-around awesome person, the drinks were great, the food was decent, and the staff was KILLAH.
