Mount Adams Cafe

Pretty decent food in a good location when coming out of the mountains. We were surprised that the restaurant is for sale, and the price has been lowered as it was crammed at 3PM on a Sunday.

Exactly hits the spot after a long weekend of hiking. Also, one of the friendliest staff that I've come across. Though still standard diner fair in a small town, it set a much higher standard for diner fair in a small town than what I previously expected.

This place was awesome. We just came over Forest Road 25 from Windy Ridge on our motorcycles and were hungry. We stopped to get gas and saw this diner across the street. I didn't have very high hopes but thought we'd give it a try. I ordered the philly cheesesteak and tater tots. This was one of the BEST philly cheesesteaks i've ever had. I order them all the time and this one was on a completely different level. The bun was buttered and toasted, the meat was delicious and plentiful, the onions and bell peppers were cooked to perfecting, and the best part was the chipotle mayo they put on it. You HAVE to try it. I am usually a troll on yelp and never really write a review, but I was so overly impressed that this is the first thing I'm doing after I got home.
