New York City Gyro

Excellent place to get a gyro ! We're gyro fanatics and these were killer!!! French fries were golden and crispy , couldn't eat them fast enough! The folks running the place are fantastic and they're kind, considerate, and very accommodating !  We will be making this our gyro fix location for sure!!!!

New York City Gyro, off of Route 17 (86) on Stewart Street in Roscoe, New York, and about 2  1/2 hours from Manhattan, is clean, and the counter person, a friendly woman. I recommend the restaurant to everyone who doesn't mind being ripped off. Here's the Greek salad I got for $8.95 plus tax yesterday: 2 cups of lettuce, 2 thin slices of tomato, 4 thin slices of cucumber, 2 thin slices of onion, 2 ounces of feta cheese, and 1 dolmadi (grape leaves). I did ask them to hold the olives, so I bet those olives would have made this salad worth the over $9 I shelled out. And, that 1 dolmadi....definitely makes it a Greek salad to write to Yelp about.
