My wife's grandfather lives in the assisted living home down the road & we normally like to bring lunch with us when we visit.
We'd been going to the diner down the street which we found to be overpriced & not that tasty. Â This time, we tried something new - the Ming Moon.
I dig takeout Chinese food in general & found most of our meal to be delicious.
We had the General, Chicken & Broccoli & Lo Mein. Â All delicious, large portions. Â These three dishes could feed our party of 6 adults & one child. Â We over-ordered but totally our fault.
We did also order some spring rolls which were NOT delicious. Â They weren't crispy & they were soaked in oil. Â This may have been a one time fluke with their fryer not being hot enough so you may want to ask when you're there if they can guarantee crispy spring rolls:) Â I've made them with my Mom at home before & it's not hard. Â This is what cost the Ming Moon the 5th star.
This place should be for take out only as their interior is pretty lame. Â If Robert Irvine were to visit, he'd sledge hammer the whole dining area. Â Robert Irvine would be very happy with the cleaning that goes on in the kitchen as the kitchen was clean (and they were cleaning while I was there, too)
