I came here a ton of times with groups of friends and I can't remember one time I didn't have fun!
Bottle prices are comparable to other bars same with the food.
I had so much fun I decided to work here as a waitress for a bit.
As far as Viet bars go in SJ this is by far the best and yes(I have been to them all) it always has the most people and some of the best food.
The girls aren't always the hottest but there's so many working every night you're bound to find one that's to your liking.
People complain about being pushed to spend money but it's the girl's job to make the bar money HELLO?! ...having a good time at a place like this will cost you a bit but it's well worth it.
If you're broke don't go.. or you can go to Tres Gringos downtown and grab a beer haha
I bought a bottle of hennesy here. Â I was pretty drunk and they charged me double on the credit which came out to $350. Â They shouldn't take advantage of people when they get drunk. Â Good thing my friend saw my receipt and went back to get my refund back. Â This place is ran by crooks and thieves. Â I wouldnt recommend this place. Â Theres are other places to go to.
Review Source:I've heard nothing but good things about this place, but I had a really bad experience. I went with one buddy and he was my designated driver so he was not drinking. After having two beers and getting two not so great lap dances in the span of twenty minutes I was asked to leave cause we were "not spending enough money".
Review Source:This is my review for Ngu Long. I think they have great food and great service, but I recently came here with a group of friends and this was a BUST! Dude in the front, carded us and told us that we couldn't go inside unless we had bottle service. We never had a problem getting a table before, so why was this night any different? Well, he told us that if we took care of him he could get us in without bottle service. Cool right? We gave him some money and we walked right in. We had to sit at a small table and we each had a couple of beers, which basically was the same price as a bottle anyways. Â We probably stayed for about an hour or so, and then dude comes to our table and kicks us out for no good reason saying our times up and now we have to buy a bottle! WTF!? We weren't being crazy or belligerent AND we paid him money that he probably kept! All I can say is, I don't think I'll be coming back as long as that fat douche bag is working there. That's shady business.

The prices are better than some of the other ones I've been to. Not to mention all the girls are very friendly and nice to look at. Will definitely make this a regular place!
Review Source:Seven dollars for a bottle of Bud? Â Well, when it's being served by a gorgeous and friendly girl, I guess I'm okay with that. Â
The only real downside is the cigarette smoke. Â Thick clouds of it. Â Don't come here if you have any respiratory problems (or if you don't want to develop any). Â I'll never understand the appeal of paying money to put something carcinogenic into your body, that prematurely ages you and stains your teeth, and lines the pockets of come immoral corporate executive somewhere. Â And I certainly don't want to have to inhale the second-hand smoke when others make that choice. Â I'd MUCH prefer to enjoy my girls, drinks, and sports in a smoke-free environment.
That said, I'll be back. Â The decor is cool, there are lots of TVs with sports, and the girls are beautiful! Â I just wish they'd enforce the "no smoking" sign hanging on their bar. Â :-/
I came here on one of their slow nights and it's safe to say I wouldn't mind going back and maybe even testing the place out on their busy days.
Environment: Relaxed and most importantly CLEAN. The music they played is seriously so much better than most of the lounges and Clubs I've been to in Downtown San Jose, so that's another plus(again, it was also a slow night). They have a few flat screen TVs mainly for sports.
Service: I have to admit I felt a little uncomfortable with women walking around in their undies, but they're really nice! Â They're friendly and make you feel welcomed.
Food: The main reason why I go here! It doesn't matter what you like, just try EVERYTHING! I've tried their salad, porridge, calamari, egg rolls, and some other stuff ... all super good! The food is a must here!
The only downside is it does get a little cloudy and stuffy inside. I'm still a fan though! I'm going to give a better ratting when I visit this place on their busy days.
Ngu Long is a very friendly place to come out chill and relax. Great food good music and friendly people. I've been to many different Viet Bars and Ngu Long is the cleanest hands down. Great customer service. Defiantly a great place to visit or have a good time with a group of friends!!!!
Review Source:I came here once with a few friends. I always have heard about these kinds of places, but I never actually experienced anything like it before. I felt so dirty in there and It was just a degrading place to be. All I can say is... if you're drunk its a good time, but being sober... reality hits and its a cold world and sad to see what women will do for money.
Review Source:I would not recommend this place. I saw on Yelp some reviews and decided to stop by the place tonight. Well I drive all the way on the other side of town. I walk up to the place with my leather jacket on and nice sweater. A vietnamese (asian) man ask me if I have friends in the cafe. At first I walk past him thinking he is just some guy outside smoking( which he was smoking). He then stands in front of the door and ask again if I have friends in the cafe. I say no I don't. I proceed to open the door and the guy blocks the door and says that they don't have any seats for singles just groups. I tell him that I can see inside and there is hardly anyone inside and lots of seats. He then says that there are a lot of girls tonight and that there are no tables for singles. I simple leave without saying anything  at that time. Well I would say don't go visit this place. I will never go back. To be treated in such a way means that the experience would probably be just as bad and the people who work there twice as bad. Maybe the place doesn't like black patrons. Fine took my money elsewhere. This was about 8pm tonight.
Review Source:Came here with on a Friday night.  Very busy.  Beautiful women, who are really friendly.  I would say this place is great for guys not sure if this is a place to bring your girlfriend.  They have a  big screen TV where you can watch sports as well.  The hostess, waitress and staff who work there are really nice, and will sit with you and drink with you at your table.  The music was also really good.  The DJ plays more hip pop which I love.  I did not get a chance to try the food while I was there because I was only there for a short time.  The only thing that really bothered me the most was the smoke.  Everyone was smoking and there is not a really good ventilation system in the restaurant, and my eyes were starting to bother me and I could not breathe.  It can get really smoky in here.  Be careful if you are sensitive to that smell.
Review Source:Oh man.. This was an experience. Oil wrestling... ya.. i said oil wrestling.. as in, "You're my boy blue!" -Old School - oil wrestling... as entertaining as this was, it was a classy place compared to the many viet bars I've been to, and the food and drink were as expected.
a couple things:
1) I'd like to see an additional security guard inside - the staff is attentive but there needs to be someone monitoring the out of control drunkies inside getting far too close to the girls. One of my friends, Davina, works there, and I'd probably be more scared for any dude who tries to go too far, she'll kick some ass - #truestory
2) ask about the happy hour specials.. i think we were there by 9, and somewhere around 10 they announced happy hour was over... "what happy hour???" we asked.. so make sure you get your money's worth =)

Vietnamese Lounge that serves great appetizers and waitress service
I came to this place with my about 25 people for my brothers birthday and they kindly set up two of the long couch areas together and we got like half of the room to ourserlves. The waitresses were so attentive. Like if some of the people went outside for air or a phone call, the ladies would jack their spot and talk to us til they get back.

I went here to go visit a friend that was working here. Â Needless to say we all had a blast the food was excellent the price was even better. Â We ended up getting 2 bottles hella food and i think we only spent 400 which is ridiculously cheap if you were to get a bottle anywhere else. Â The service was bar none the best I've seen. Â our shot glasses were never empty. Â I would definitely come back for seconds and thirds ;)

Pros:
-food is really good, like really good. I wasn't even intoxicated trust me
-table service is excellent, very attentive & proper. everything was set up like a wedding which I found to be quite amusing haha
Cons:
-the smoke was so bothersome after awhile I started coughing. better ventilation would be great
-girls are okay, some better than others. some looked like they really enjoyed what they're doing, others not so much.
-if you have a big group & coming later in the night it'll be hard to get a table. it was unlikely we would get one soon as we were told. we were outside for a good 20-25mins before they let us in when we decided to go elsewhere. they probably wanted to make sure we were gonna get a bottle
this being my second Viet bar experience, it seems to be much "classier" than the others if I could even describe it like that haha. would come back for the food and entertainment for my guy friends.

I only came here once when my friend use to work here. So we came in early to drop her off but since no one was there yet we stayed to drink some beers. We ended up trying the raw oysters, it was good I like the home made salsa they put on top. We also tried the coconut snails it was good. The snails are small and they cut one end open so you're suppose to suck it out. Yup it's hella work so if you're short on breathe don't order it. I wouldn't come back since I don't go to viet bars but I can say the food here is good and the lay out of the place is nice. They have long comfy couches and a dance floor and flat screens all over. The bartender was nice too they gave my friends and I a free round of shots.

We wanted to go to a Vietnamese bar so our friends up in San Jose decided all to meet here. When we first walk in, it felt like a strip bar because of all of the girls walking around in tiny tiny shorts and bikini's plus the glow in the dark lights. We got a table of 10 and sat down and started to drink. Everytime when you take a sip of your beer, they would fil up your glasses. There were oil wrestling among the waitress and lap dance if you want them too. We order some food which was not that good but the surrounding was fun. One of our gf got a lap dance which was fun to watch. Overall i enjoy hanging out here. When all walked away pretty buzz and laughing.

I'm not a fan of these joints due to the stereotypes and what not, but it's a class of it's own.
The girls are hot and the service is freaken awesome. I would say it's comparable to hue lounge in Santa Clara. && I go to hue often just to have drinks and hang out with friends. Â
If you want to just have a good night with good music, come here and check it out for yourself. Hot girls, live dj, and alcohol. There's the equation for a good time!
I went to this place the night of thursday june 6th,it was my 1st time & boyyyy did it leave a lasting impression. The outside of this place looks real quiet & boring,but once you walk in its like a whole different feeling. It's a hidden gem to people that want to party yet chill at the same time. This place is PACKED with mainly asians,its a resturant/lounge,they have a live DJ & sexy ladies that walk around and give lapdances...if you go here,be sure to come with BIG bucks,alot of friends & dress sexy ;)

Went there for a friends birthday...we got there around 11:30pm or so...most of our party was wasted already. Â But that was beside the point that I'm going to make. Â The place had just been remodel and I must say it's pretty nice...kinda dark tho. Â Okay...so we sat in the lounge area where we can see everyone and their fathers! The place was loaded with looks like "gangsters" that was about to bust a cap anytime soooo get ready to duck!! Secondly the waitress that works there were pretty drunk so they would bring us other peoples order or they would bring us drinks when we didn't ask for it. Now that is bad service...I mean its okay to drink on the job but drink responsibly and don't make the place look bad...cause at the end of the night it's your service that is gonna get you that hand tip or tip on the table ladies! I felt like I was at a strip club..seriously there were girls giving lap dances left n right grinding their customers..I mean come on girls your getting pay minimum wage to rub your shiet all over dudes...thats distasteful. Â It's a restaurant for Gods sake! LOL...get a room!
