Really hit or miss I've been going here since I was a kid..now almost 30 and a little more traveled ...it's bar food if its not deep fried ...well ..burgers are ok...Amanda and ed are awesome...the pony tailed brown haired lady that looks pregnant is a awful hostess/ waitress rude never comes back to refill drinks..ordered food 30 minutes before kitchen closed drove 30 minutes to get it ...keep in mind starving...she didnt even put the order in! Then blamed me for driving down when the kitchen was closed even tho I ordered it to go while the kitchen was still going...we will not eat here when she's working ...also watched her go from trash from floor to touching her face straight to making drinks and serving food without washing her hands she is gross and rude..
Review Source:Went for a scenic Clark County ride today. We stopped at the "World famous Nick's" in Amboy. Amboy is as rural and rural gets. Out in the Sticks one might say. Nick's has been around since 1951 and for many years a Loggers bar. It is since gravitated towards a family and biker oriented bar and grill. On any sunny weekend, Nick's will be packed with bikers. Now, don't freak out when I say bikers, because we bikers are people too, and are some of the nicest and helpful people you could ever meet, Nick's knows this and welcomes us with open arms. And  if you happen to be at Nick's the same time as many bikers, you will never be safer! The front of nicks is all Motorcycle Parking, with a nice big lot on the side for cars, trucks, and tractors. The insides are clean roomy, homey and a bit dated. They also have a large dance floor and a nice stage for bands. In the men's room, the exposed bricks have graffiti on them, some from local biker clubs, but, there is NO PROFANITY, it's mostly "so-and-so was here" type of thing. There were some old regulars sitting at the bar area (it was before noon) and they greeted us with smiles. My friend and I decided to sit by a side window seat where we had a nice view of Cedar creek lazily flowing past Nick's. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, she brought us menus and told us about the special, a Jalapeno Bacon Burger with Pepperjack Cheese. I love me some heat in my food so I ordered the special. It came to us quickly with some nice hot fries. The burger was good and perfectly hot, spicy wise. It was a decent meal for the price of $7.95. If you love to ride and love to eat, Nick's is a great ride destination.
