I pass by the NHL all the time as I live right down the street.

The people standing outside always look pretty shady so I never even thought of going inside, but I met a couple of girlfriends here last week and I was actually pleasantly surprised.

The inside is spacious and clean, with pool tables, air hockey and the like.

We went on a monday night so the place was pretty empty but the bartender was nice and the beer was cold.

I would go back, I just wouldn't go out of my way.

My favorite bar in the area! When we first moved here I kept getting disappointed by the overall, let's call it "douchiness," of certain bars that seemed great during the day but transformed at night. Here I can sit with a beer and relax, watch a game, chat with strangers, etc. The crowd is much more diverse, and it doesn't feel pretentious.

Came here on a Saturday night around 9:30pm- early I know but my bf and I just wanted one drink. I was surprised how big it is inside! The bar itself isn't but the building goes back with darts, pool tables, and an air hockey table. Sadly the air hockey table was old and barely worked, the hockey puck got stuck most of the time. As for the drinks, my bf had a Stella for $3 and I had some tequila with juice for $6. SUPER STRONG, I had to ask for more juice like a baby! Lol.
