We were with a large wedding party for a rehearsal dinner and this was our venue!  It was pretty good!  I think we arrived early, because we puttered around the top part of the bar for a long time.  The old fashioneds were lovely.  There is a top part of the bar that is set above the rest, so you sit in a regular chair and are pulled up to the bar.  It made me smile.

We were seated in a more private section and the servers were a little huffy, but good nonetheless.  The food we had was all spectacular.  I had bacon wrapped pork chops.  Others had some chicken pesto dish which was fine as well.  We all also had cajun mushroom soup to start, which you would think would have been awful, but it wasn't!

Overall, it was very nice and the best food we had all weekend.  We stayed at Heidel House and if we have to stay there again, we'll try to eat our meals at Norton's instead.

I have been here every year for many years.  The overall experience has declined.  We were there with a large group (most who had been there before) and the general consensus was the same.  The steaks were of poor quality, the crab legs were lousy, and half the time the staff seemed irritated with our business.  The view, the bacon wrapped scallops, and the lobster tails bumped this from one star to two...barely.

I'd recommend stopping for a drink and some scallops if you really want the view or are coming in on a boat, and then do dinner elsewhere.

Fantastic View.  Excellent Bar. Decent Cocktail.....you can see the decline.....the food was lousy.  I am not one to return food, and I did not, but the cook needs some work.

THe staff was nice, there probably is not a better view...but for $100 for 2, two cokatails and two entrees, the food better be very good.  Too much sauce, slightly over done, tasteless soup...

Had dinner with 3 family members. We ordered an appetizer and never received it. Apparently the cocktail waitress never told anyone. I ordered the walleye. Everyone else ordered ribeyes medium rare. All 3 came well done. We sent them back and I proceeded to eat alone. 2 were fine when they came back the third was not but he ate it anyway. Once we ordered drinks from another cocktail waitress and she proceeded to come back and ask us who's check it was going on. Overall experience was terrible.

Good food and great service. Try the bacon wrapped scallops or the bleu cheese chips as an appetizer. Next time I'm in Green Lake, I'll stop back at Nortons. Good stuff.

When in Wisconsin, you must go to a Fish Fry.  A Fish Fry you ask?  It's fresh fish fried to perfection that's accompanied with some yummy cole slaw and fries.

When you're in Green Lake to be exact, your dining options are limited.  If we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, we had Norton's, Goose Blind (a bar & restaurant) and maybe two other restaurants as our options in this small town.

We were the guests at our friend's wedding rehearsal dinner here last month and we had a great time enjoying our all-you-can-eat fish.  I loved it (and I'm a rather picky eater when it comes to my fish & chips),

If you're in Green Lake for a little getaway, go to Norton's.

My first Fish Fry at a wedding rehearsal dinner we crashed was the first real meal we had in Wisconsin. Good stuff! Not sure what type of fish it was, but the simple meal of breaded white fish, french fries and some tasty cole slaw was a great way to start the Wisconsin experience. The staff were friendly, talkative and funny. Great family atmosphere and spectacular view of Green Lake. Also had my first Old Fashioned cocktail which set off a very nice buzz. Sweet and strong. Definitely worth the short drive from town.

Great atmosphere, even better view.  Fairly limited menu.  The food was good though.

I give 2 stars for the food.  Since new owners a few years ago, they just have not figured out how to get that kitchen running right.  BTW, the kitchen is closed (yes, I said closed) between 2 and 4 pm to "get ready for dinner".  Not even a bar menu!  Are these people crazy????I would give one or two stars but the atmosphere and views make up for their lack of culinary know-how.  Although the decor is right out of 1972, it works.  You can drive over on your boat, tie up at the dock, sit outside and relax on the shore of beautiful Green Lake.  If only they could update that menu and improve the food they could be a yelp 5 star.

Great food, awesome scenery...even in the winter when you mosey in there for lunch and watch the ice fisherman drive back and forth across the frozen lake to their shanties.  In the summer, it isn't the perfect weekend unless we boat up to Norton's pier and have a little leisurely lunch and cocktails.

Luke is one of the best bartenders I have ever had the pleasure of sitting across the bar from.  Seriously good - hilarious, chats with everyone, constantly anticipates what you need, and keeps the bar impeccable.  You find yourself sitting at the bar far longer than you meant to on a Saturday afternoon!

    The burgers are AMAZING.  Seriously.

Norton's is a must for all visitors to Green Lake.

Norton's is a genuine Wisconsin supper club dining experience. Very comfortable and unpretentious place overlooking the lake. Great cocktails. They've got a dock if you want to come to the restaurant by boat. This is probably the best restaurant in town.
