  Good food for this area and a nice adirondack-y vibe on the interior.  We were a party of 6 and tried a variety of food; chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, steaks, and a shrimp dish.  All were good.  Good desserts, good mojitos; been coming to these lakes for 7 years without any decent dining that was local.  Will definitely return...

  Friendly service. Nice vibe. Average food. A decent area choice.  Google maps can help you find the place. Just past the restaurant called "The Place" near where Rte 8 and Rte 9 meet.

  Fresh food, friendly service.  It's great to be able to come to a place that has reasonable prices, huge (read take some home) portions and friendly, efficient service with a smile.  If you've been once, when you come back, they'll know your name (or at least remember your face)....... it's like the Cheers of the Adirondacks with tasty food!

  OP's is consistently excellent. Good food and warm, attentive, service. Try the cedar planked salmon and chicken parm as favorites. Great for burgers and salads too. The bar is a fun and friendly place too.

  My family stops here every year on our way back from our Adirondacks excursions. The food is consistently delicious. They have huge entrees priced between $15 and $25 that range from meat to seafood to pasta. They also have an excellent selection of appetizers including delicious onion rings which we sampled on visit last week. These were so fresh and straight out of the fryer. They also have sandwiches and meal sized salads priced around $6 to $11. I had the portabella sandwich which was excellent. My mom tried the cheese burger which was huge and delicious and a great deal at only $6.95. No fries were included with either, however, but we were full with just the sandwiches. They have a large assortment of bottled beers to choose from. The service on our last visit was very spotty with the waitress never even brining us bread or checking in to see how the meal was. (Other times, we have had great service, though). The teenage boy taking care of the water was awesome, however, and kept our glasses filled at all times. We'll definitely be back next year. A great place to check out after spending a day at the lake.
