Ol' 42 Grub House

These folks used to have Adamo's Pizza around the corner.  They've been working on this place awhile, and it is finally open.  It's essentially Adamo's Plus- the same pizza and subs, plus other sandwiches, more pizza and sub varieties, etc.

Hours are limited so call ahead; right now they're open for lunch 1130am-130pm, dinner 4-9 most nights and 4-11 on weekends (closed Sunday, just like almost everything else in Plain Cit.y.)

I got an Italian sub, just to see if things were any different and to save some time- they were ready to close.  The place was packed; I guess many people, like me, have been waiting for them to open.  The sub was good, if not spectacular.  Meaty, cheesy, fresh vegetables and good bread.  I am looking forward to trying the new options.

Decor is nice, small-town dinery.  Some paintings on the walls of local scenes like the clock tower.  Service was friendly and efficient.

Let's hope this is the start of a food renaissance in Plain City.  There are rumors of a couple of other restaurants coming in, and shops.
