Tucked away behind McDaniels Hardware in Snohomish, this place is pretty great if you want to hit up a dive bar, and not have any spectators around to witness the act. There MIGHT be three people there , on a busy night. That may change soon, since Snohomish just eliminated their police department, whose H.Q. is (was?) located directly across the street...not so good for this bar's business,I'm sure. You may want to park at the library next door and walk over to the bar.. for the time being , anyway.
Cold beer sold cheap, nice pool tables, a timeless atmosphere essentially unchanged since the 70s, (except for better TVs) Â ...everything you could want in an out-of-the-way dive bar, No kitchen , so just bar munchies available , although this is the kind of place where the regulars often set up an informal feeding station with somebody's favorite crockpot recipe simmering .
They recently added hard liquor to the mix , for those of you who want something stiffer than beer. I personally feel compelled to drink Rainier in long necked bottles here, most of the time....to keep it "period correct" and all.
Great place to drag some friends who think they've hit ALL the bars in Snohomish....because this one is easy to miss !
