My husband, me, and a very dear friend from FL visited The Hawthorne tonight to listen to Roger Fisher perform a free concert. Â What an awesome experience we had! This is exactly the kind of venue we've been looking for in Snohomish County. (FYI...Mr. Fisher was one of the original members of the band Heart and responsible for writing many of their hit songs.) Â All the staff members at The Hawthorne were so friendly and wonderfully efficient, despite the large crowd there on this particular evening. Â The limited food menu items were really delicious and provided by The Cabbage Patch (next door). Â We plan to visit there again soon as we had such a wonderful time. The only downside was I think there's only one restroom which can get a little tricky when there's 40 or 50 people attending a performance. Â But definitely a 5-star kinda place! Â Prepare to be pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere in this tiny treasure of a pub! Â Kudos to the owners for bringing an upscale venue to Snohomish and for attracting really great entertainment. Â I can't wait to sit out on the beautiful patio with vine covered pergola this coming summer listening to some great tunes!
Review Source:Visited this new little establishment last weekend. The music was amazing. But maybe a bit premature for this friendly place to be open. While the home provides a comfortable atmosphere. Beverages are served in a flimsy plastic cup . A glass of wine has to be served in glass folks for customers to want to return. Even water was served in a paper cup. Sure took away from the overall anticipated feel. Friendly couple running the place...but maybe wait to visit when the kitchen is up and running.
