3 1/2 stars is more true. A favorite with locals for years, the Candy Kitchen is appropriately named because they managed to squeeze together a hand made candy confectionery and a small town diner and jam them both into one tightly packed main street storefront in Williamson. While the diner menu is nothing extraordinary, it does have many traditional diner choices and the service and food quality are consistently good in the four occasions that I can remember eating here. The candy is very good, not inexpensive, but reasonable for hand made. The dark chocolate turtles are my favorite. Although I have not tried them they regularly have sugar free choices. At lunch time this place is packed and closeness of the dining area can get a little noisy.
