We stopped in to have the pasty.  They were good for the LP but not great.  Both our pasty's crust were dark and overcooked and a little dry.  The meat inside could be better but for the price it's acceptable.  AOK for lunch.  Pasty's in the actual UP are much better.  OK for here though.  Don't expect service at your table but the window service is good.  Gravy is good and reasonable.

I love this place! So far I haven't been disappointed. I do have to say the steak pasty is better than the chicken pasty, but that's just my preference. They even deliver to my house which should earn them an extra star.

You call this a pasty? Any Pasty in the LP I'm suspicious. My gandma is a yooper and a Finn, and she knows her pastys, and has a strong opinion about them. "the Finns improved on the Cornish Pasty," she will always say. A real Pasty needs rutabaga. I took her here to see what she thought, and she was not impressed. I wasn't either. I have had a salad on occasion, or a greasy ruben. Take it from the Finn, if you want a great pasty you're going to have to head north.
