We stopped in to have the pasty. Â They were good for the LP but not great. Â Both our pasty's crust were dark and overcooked and a little dry. Â The meat inside could be better but for the price it's acceptable. Â AOK for lunch. Â Pasty's in the actual UP are much better. Â OK for here though. Â Don't expect service at your table but the window service is good. Â Gravy is good and reasonable.
Review Source:You call this a pasty? Any Pasty in the LP I'm suspicious. My gandma is a yooper and a Finn, and she knows her pastys, and has a strong opinion about them. "the Finns improved on the Cornish Pasty," she will always say. A real Pasty needs rutabaga. I took her here to see what she thought, and she was not impressed. I wasn't either. I have had a salad on occasion, or a greasy ruben. Take it from the Finn, if you want a great pasty you're going to have to head north.
