Painting With a Twist

Painting with a Twist is a wonderful alternative to going out to a bar with friends.  There is an artist who takes you step by step through a painting- making it fun, and keeping every stroke in layman's terms.  You bring your own wine and snacks- and you spend two hours creating something you had no idea you were capable of creating.  

This place is a blast!  Two sisters brought this wonderful franchise to St.  Louis.  You've got to try it!  You"ll be hooked!

So I was really nervous at first about the prospect of not only painting, but painting in public was even more terrifying.  I got over it pretty quick.  The instructor kept saying "keep it loose" and eventually I did.  The thing I liked the most was the fact that it was ZERO pressure.  The painting was fun and the best part is everyone's looked a little different, but they were all awesome.  I was able to go in with my girlfriends and leave everything else at the door.  It was such a great break from the norm.  I think I am going to bring my nieces next time.
