Parisi's Drive-In

I grew up near this hot dog stand. I moved away and still stop here for my dog, beef sauce and fry. The banana shake rules and the beefs are outstanding.

I've been coming to this place for a while now. I've noticed these people haven't updated a single place. The place looks exactly the same ever since I moved into the neighborhood.

They still have the same pots and the same fry tray that is beaten and bent. HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO MAKES ALL THIS $$ CAN'T EVEN BUY A FEW SIMPLE POTS AND TRAY HOLDERS???

They charge higher sales tax than normal and I HAVE RECEIPTS TO PROVE IT...  The fries are outrageously expensive, although the food is good I must admit, but like I said WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the type of service they give as well. THESE PEOPLE DON'T EVEN HAVE A CASH REGISTER!! HOW PATHETIC IS THAT?  

The employees don't wash their hands when they handle food and they give you the ice cream cones with their bare hands after handling $, that's just sick! The place does look dirty in the waiting area. I def. won't be going back there, and they are a little too pricey for my taste and for the quality of food they sell.

Absolut must stop whenever coming or going from Midway Airport.  I love the beef and sausage combo, however the steak sandwich is outstanding.  I also make a special trip during Lent to have the pepper and egg sandwich.  Their fries are delicious and when I ask for them crispy, they oblige and make them perfect.  An institution in the neighborhood since the mid-50's, this place is not glam but the best kept secret on the south side!  Ask anyone in the area.
