Very good. Excellent service. Good value for money. Pasta slightly overcooked.

F. Myers is no culinary Shangrila, but as this was my Gammy's go to Italian, it was fitting for a large family meal to commemorate her funeral.

It is pretty good, if you stick to classics. I had a sausage penne in a spicy cream which was good, tried the chicken parm which was good, but the more inventive (Spicy seafood trio which is Fra Diavolo, Stuffed grouper over angel hair aoili) was nothing remarkable. The standard marinara doesnt measure up to what I consider good italian.

However, the friendly staff (Classic South Florida; we had a Bostonian and a Staten Island transplant)  reasonable prices and old school family Italian feel will serve your purpose well. If your purpose is a hearty Italian meal with minimal frills or creativity.

I found this place on yelp when I was in need of something reasonable.  And it is reasonable, but it is not 5 stars.  What this placed reminds me of is a midwestern italian restaurant transported from Michigan or maybe Wisconsin and drooped into florida.  And if that hit childhood memoirs for you then this place will be great.  If you are looking for things more "italian" then you might not be so happy.  

The service is good and friendly.  Add the place defiantly has a set of regulars from what I saw and they all enjoyed things.  But the first thing I noticed when I walked in was the lack of a "smell".  When I walk into most places that I consider good italian you can smell the spices, the garlic, the basil, what ever coming out of the kitchen and it makes you warm in the belly.  This placed didn't have that.

What we had was good, not great and I've had better, hence the two stars.  But if you are from the midwest I'm sure this place will feel like something back home and it will seem more like 4 starts for you.
