  was working in the Bridgewater area today and I stoped by Patriot pub for lunch, pizza was real good and wings were great too, good place to watch a game and grab a bite to eat

  This is a townie bar, pure and simple. They have good prices for specials ( a pitcher of draft and cheese pizza for $8.95). Don't know how good it is, a guy next to me didn't finish his and he looked like he could eat a side of beef and ask for dessert. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich and was dissappointed as it was 3 chicken tenders with hardly any sauce, very dry. My buddy is a regular here and said the food sucks, stick with the drinks.

  I've only been to Patriot Pub & Grille once while visiting friends in Bridgewater.  I found it to be a cute townie bar that I would probably frequent if I still lived in town.  The staff was extremely friendly, and the bartender made me a great gin & tonic.  The mixed drinks seemed to be about $6+.  They also have their own homemade sangria that I hope to try sometime in the future.  My friends and I came here on a Thursday trivia night over the summer.  There wasn't much of a crowd, but it supplied entertainment for a couple of hours.  I ordered a chicken quesadilla to go, and it was delicious.  I was definitely pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food and the drinks at this dive bar.  It's a relaxing place to go if you are moving with a crowd.

  Patriot Pub in East Bridgewater is now under new management. The food is better than ever.  They have a real honest to God chef in charge of the kitchen, not just a short order cook, and terrific people on the bar. Give it a try, you won't regret it! ... Robert M.

  There was some confusion regarding my opinion of Patriot Pub's less than impressive pizza. They were kind enough to give us a free cheese pizza that had been leftover in the kitchen at the end of the night. That was appreciated, and after a few beers a slice or two was welcome. That pizza had nothing to do with my review. I've sat at the bar a couple of times before and had their pizza. Each time I wasn't impressed. Someone in group I was with ordered a pizza that they also thought wasn't very good, and didn't finish it.
  
  I am sorry the owner took my criticism so poorly that he gave my friend who performed there a hard time about my opinion. Instead of asking her about it, maybe he should spend more time working on a better crust, and a sauce with some more flavor to it.
  
  I won't be back here anytime soon.
