I grew up in High Ridge but moved to Boston about 8 years ago. Â Whenever I come home I make sure to come to Peggs at LEAST once. Since I left I have visited a ton of places with hot wings and have yet to find hot wings that come even close to Peggs. I don't know how they do it but it but their hot wings are magic. Oh god I'm drooling just thinking about it. Everything else I have ordered from them was amazing. The pizza is incredible and their toasted ravioli is to die for! But the hot wings... Oh man. I wish they delivered to Boston! At least send me some of their hot wing sauce!!
Review Source:I thought the spicy pizza was great and the potato skins were pretty good too. Â We also ordered some hot wings and they were delicious....The prices are fair and the pizza is very much like Imo but less of the price. Â I would for sure have this again. Â And the delivery was much faster than that of Pizza Hut. Â The Taste don't even compare.
Review Source:I am out in High Ridge once every week or two to visit my Mom and I generally have Pegg's once every couple months. Love the cheese garlic bread and the pizza is pretty good too. Its one of those places that, if I lived closer, would be a dine in staple. You know, a neighborhood place with cheap pitchers and a hometown atmosphere. This is where Paesano's Pizza used to be...while very close to the same fare, I think Paesano's was even a little better. Word o the vegetarians: they even put pepperoni on their cheapest smallest side salad, so make sure you order it without!
Review Source:I know it's all the way out in High Ridge and that's not exactly the most wonderful drive in the world, but if you want a strong contender for this St. Louis Pizza war we keep having on the message boards, I think we MUST give a little credit to Pegg's.  Thin crust, crispy and covered edge to edge in cheesey gooeyness.  Delicious.  Even the veggie pizza which usually gets all soggy by the time you reheat it, but this one was still good the next day after nesting in it's styrofoam container all night long.  There is a huge selection of appetizers too; largely standard pub  fare for the most part,  but really done well.  Any lover of garlic cheese bread, order this stuff....just like the pizza it's gooey and crispy and just the way garlic cheese bread should taste. Â
Also, the smoking section was completely separate from the smoking, something you all know I appreciate. Â And the best part...it was ridiculously cheap. Â You can get two 16" pizzas for $22....and trust me, it will feed an army.
