Just a dive bar.
The lock on the restroom doesn't work, I had someone walk in on me 3 times throughout the night. Beer prices are okay, but no drafts available. 2 pool tables take up a majority of the portion of the bar that was open. They have 40 oz served in a bucket of ice... I have never seen that before.
I won't be going back to this place.
Well, the sign may say Cheers...and they might have the same kitchy font as the beloved television show (and tourist trap in Boston) but I PROMISE you this is not even one iota the same place as that establishment.
Granted, this place is in one of the diviest shopping centers in all of Valley Park. Â That is certainly saying something. Â It is buried behind some other store fronts on 141, and it's very hard to find. Â It's completely hidden and maybe there's a good reason for that.
This place defines dive bar. Â From the sketchy locals that clearly hang out here every night to the rough and tumble atmosphere to the incredibly cheap Busch Light and Journey, this place defines dive bar. Â It's almost so stereotypical it's come back around and become atypical to this scene. Â I would not say you have to check this establishment out. Â I would say, however, if you are in the neighborhood, want a cheap drink, and need a little atmospheric entertainment, oh this place is quite wonderful. Â Just drive slow in the parking lot, it's filled with pot holes that WILL swallow your car.
