Dive bar, fried food, dark inside. But we had a good time watching football Sunday here. Road the motorcycle all morning on South Padre and wanted to sTop for lunch. The food was pretty stereotypical fried bar food. Very nice bartender and guests. Good for a late night hangout or to shoot some pool, watch a game.
Review Source:After having first been at Farah's, I wasn't sure what to expect from the "Pelicant." What greeted me was a hoppin crowd, loads of hotties and a Texas country band. In a word: partttttayyyyyyyy.
The place was crazy crowded but those bartenders were moving around at light speed. We ordered shots and drinks and made friends and stayed until they absolutely kicked us out. It's like this place posted up in the 80s and never left... and we loved it.
