I give this place 3 stars because I always have fun when I go there. Its kind of weird the way they set it up. The main dining room is much larger, it has a nice bar and a dance floor. This place always closes early and they push everyone downstairs into this small room. The drinks are cheap and the people are nice but it could use some updating. (to be fair they have started updating some areas of the place.) I wouldn't eat here. Not really any good reason it just doesn't look like the type of place to produce good food.

Friday night is Fajita night at Perry's.  So I ordered...FAJITA's of course!  For $10 a skillet of Chicken fajita's was delivered to my table in about 15 minutes.  The chicken was thoroughly cooked and lightly seasoned.  Unfortunately the veggies were still on the raw side yet oppositely, the rice was overcooked.

Despite the bad food, the service and entertainment (Oracle Band) made up for the difference.  I would come here again but not for the fajita's.

FOUR stars for the nightlife, TWO stars for Saturday breakfast.  I've had a great time going here to drink, hang out and watch live bands.  It's my kind of crowd at night.  However, that was LONG ago and I'm hearing the place is going downhill.  This was apparent when I took my kids to have breakfast there at 8:30 on a Saturday (opens at 8:00).  We sat down in an empty room with set tables.  Nobody showed up.  One person was there when we walked in and they walked "in back" and never came back out!  We stayed, for approx. 8 minutes.  Anyone who has young children KNOWS that WAITING is not an option.  Oh well...we left.  It was odd.  Don't advertise breakfast, if you can't have people SERVING BREAKFAST.

Ok so I went here with the crew, per usual, and it was mainly to see our favorite cover band, Oracle! The place was really small and as soon as we walked in we were face to face with the band on the dance floor. The seating areas are limited and the bar is tucked in a corner that is hard to access when there people standing around or sitting in the chairs around it.

Now I must say that I had a really good time. I dont know if it was the people I was talking to or the copious amounts of Patron, but we had a good time. The crowd there is a bit older, but we snuck off downstairs where the younger crowd was at a different bar and got our fix.

The prices of the drinks are on par with the area and the servers are really nice and accomodating. The decour is a bit outdated but after a few tequilla shots I was not caring.

Come here for a good time with local folks. maybe you can catch the Oracle band, or just chill out with some older folks who rock!

Not a great experience for us.  We should have know when we walked in and 1 other table was there.  Our drinks didn't taste right they tasted like dish water.  After we ordered our food we were just waiting and the waitress dropped a utensil on the floor, but then placed it on the table behind us.  The hamburger ordered well done came out medium rare...the mayonnaise looked like it had been sitting out all day.  To top it off after we got done, we were waiting for he check to come back noticed a dead bug in salt shaker....thankfully no one needed to use the salt.  Needless to say we will not be going back there!

Perry restaurant and Lounge is a good place for good food at a great price.  Quiet enough in the day for business meetings.  Again the price is a great.

Had chicken wrap and fries.  Good place.

All the reviews of the service and atmosphere are spot on.  This place could use a serious makeover, but I guess if it suits the regulars... whatever.

We hadnt visited Perry's in a long time and it was half-price burgers that got me interested this time.  The burgers were ok, cooked to order and a nice Yuengling to wash it down.

Made the mistake of ordering the Greek "sampler platter" and for a place that prides itself on homemade food, what was on the "home made" platter was actually lacking in just about everything that would identify with Greek cuisine.  The dolmades were canned and reheated, spanakopita obviously held in the freezer and microwaved, and a pastitsio that was, well, disgusting.  Presentation was horrible, they piled everything in a heap, I suppose to give unknowing locals the illusion that they're getting their money's worth.  Probably the only redeeming thing on this platter was the cut up tomatoes and cucumbers. Your mileage may vary here, but take it from someone born and raised in Greece, if you're coming to sample the Greek menu. order a burger.

On the plus side, I did make a off handed comment to the owner/nice lady in the lobby (after she asked how things were going) that the burgers were okay. She clearly saw that the appetizer platter was not going to be finished. After a while she came back and remarked that I had said the only the burgers were okay, what was wrong with the platter. So I laid into it, telling here what I thought.  In a minute she came back with her husband/co-owner? and seemed to be sincere in fixing the problem. I got a free beer out of the deal, but I doubt they're going to fix the problem with the quality.

I had been to Perry's a few years back and ordered the gyro, with a similar experience. I cant stand a place that advertises quality and delivers something less. I don't know what the other locals see in this place.

When we first moved to Odenton, we tried pretty much every restaurant around, since there aren't very many.  Perry's is so, so bad.  The place was pretty empty but the one waitress kept disappearing.  There were more people in the bar, so maybe she was hanging out there?  The "greek salad" was iceberg lettuce, supermarket tomatoes, sliced onion and canned olives.  Gross.  The entrees were overcooked, over-salted and just plain bad.  The atmosphere is like eating in someone's basement -- damp, mildew-scented and not clean.  Yuck.

First let me say that I have been going to Perry's for more years than I care to mention. Let's say over 25. This used to be one of my go-to places when I wanted decent food at a decent price along with fast, friendly service. I feel bad for sending out a less than stellar review but my complaints fall on deaf ears when I talk to the current management. My husband got the prime rib. Always wonderful, healthy-sized portion but the last few times we went in - overdone. He likes medium - comes out very close to well. Still, all-in-all, it was edible. I ordered an appetizer platter & as usual it was very good, generous portions at happy hour price. I also ordered a greek salad. Not so good. I think they must have prepped my salad & put it under the warming lamp while they waited for hubby's overdone prime rib. I asked for no olives & no pepperocinis. Both were on the salad. I could deal with that - just pick them off & waste them in the trash. But, the feta cheese was warm & gooey, the lettuce was warm & limp, the tomatoes were warm & mushy. I asked our waitress if she could have them make me a fresh one. She took it back & brought out another one. Well, I think the cook must have scraped the cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers & onions from the first salad & put them on top of some more lettuce. NOT GOOD. I couldn't eat the salad. Never saw our waitress again. The bus girl comes to the table & asks if she can clear our plates. I asked if she could send our waitress. No go, still never saw her again. The bus girl said she would let the "manager" know there was an issue. Never saw the manager. Bus girl brought our check. It did not have the salad on it but did have the appetizer platter on at full price. Glad I looked or I would have paid for the salad anyway. So, I get up & walk over to the manager & ask if he could correct the price on the appetizer. I very politely told him that the cook should be more careful to serve cold food cold. "Okay" was all I got. We have decided that we will not be going into Perry's for a while. I think that the younger generation does not have the savvy that their dad did when he was running the show. In the service industry - customer service is number 1. These young men need to take a few lessons from their father.

Dive-y, family owned, the food looks good, 10 percent military discount on tuesdays, has an outdoor patio that is enclosed for smokers, decent prices on drinks, and the bar tenders are good overall.

Do not take a date here.  A group of friends fine.  This is not a date place.  At all.

Stopped by for happy hour on a Monday night.  Half price wine kept my bar tab at $11, which was sweet.  Ordered the crab balls, came out more like mini crab cakes, loved them.  5 for $9 was a good deal I thought.  Will try their greek food and wings next time I go, and I hear the drinks are cheap at HH.
    Party on!

I'm here to review Odies, the downstairs basement bar of Perry's. There is a separate parking lot in the back of Perrys that most use for going to Odies. It's a decent little dive bar for the Odenton area. Play on words I guess. The bartenders are always nice..especially if you're a girl.. and the drinks are cheap. There are a couple pool tables and a bunch of TVs. Since the renovation I guess they decided the more TVs the better and put multiple ones on each wall. It's actually a little ridiculous looking. A lot of kinda trashy girls, and sportsbar type dudes come in here and it can get pretty loud. You'll find a lot of locals here that everyone knows. I'd probably give it 2.5, nothing particularly bad just an average place if you're looking for cheap drinks in Odenton.

Parry's isn't much in terms of ambiance, but the one reason why I give it such a high rating is for their lamb chop dinner. There are a few things that Perry's is good at- and really good at--- Their broiled lamb chops dinner $12.99 for three thick lamb chops and two sides [an UNBELIEVABLE DEAL for lamb chops] their ranch dressing/salads.... and their steaks are good. Everything else is so-so.  I just keep going back for the lamb chops because they are so GOOD, and cheap.  Most other places would charge me at least $17 for it. Oh, and their buffalo wings are crispy, which is hard to find.

What not to get at Perrys? The spaghetti... sorry... but it will keep you up at night with digestive regrets.

I have to give this place three stars for only one reason... My husband is very particular about his buffalo chicken wraps and he LOVES theirs.  He frequents them for lunch during the week.

My main complaint with Perry's is that the service is SO SLOW.  I could have gone back there and made the food faster (and it probably would have tasted better).  When you have children with you, like Nathan said, make sure you have tons of toys and stuff to occupy their time while you're waiting for what feels like forever for your cold cheese sticks.  I feel like this place is over priced.  I ordered the shrimp alfredo and it was way too buttery for an alfredo, you could actually see the butter sitting on top.

One good thing about them is that they have a party area that you can rent.  I had my sons baptism accross the street and went there afterwards and they said we didn't have to pay for the room since we had so many people ordering, which made me really happy... but again we were there forever waiting for the food which came out at painfully different times.  If I had paid for the room, I would have asked for some kind of compensation.

The manager (I think) is named Crystos.  He was a delightful, laid back guy and kind of cute.  He helped with our drink orders and everything.

Overall they are OK but I would never ask to eat here.  (even though they have coupons on <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurants.com&s=8b83bf0ff8b716aae84527dc95577a310f201b166dcca25c8ca3824b15703869" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurants.com</a> frequently)

I was surprised by this place and it was better than I expected it to be.  It seems a little bit on the divey side when you drive by but they actually some decent Greek food (which you can eat while listening to Greek music).  I had the Greek burger which had a nice hunk of feta on it.  I would have added a tomato to it but otherwise it fulfilled my desires for a burger.

There is also a large basket of candy at the front that goes beyond the normal selection of Dum Dums (those are there to).  Nothing like rounding out my meal with a piece of Tearjerkers gum!

There are 2 sections to Perry's, the restaurant and the bar.  I have never been to the bar, so, I can only give my opinion of the restaurant.  That being said, the only good thing I can say is the waitress was very nice and the food was served promptly.  Unfortunately, the food was awful.  My kids didn't even like it and they will eat anything.

It didn't help that the restaurant smelled like a damp basement.  The decor (furniture, wall coverings, etc.) were about 30 years out of date.  There were stains on the walls and the ceiling tiles were yellow and aged with what appeared to be water stains.

We were the only people in the restaurant and I knew why when I was done.

I almost want to go to three stars here, but I'm not going to.  We stopped by for breakfast.  It was about 9 am, the place was fairly empty, and it still took us nearly half an hour to get our food out.  Here's how it played out:

0 min - go in and seat ourselves.  Hm, ambiance is actually nicer than I expected.  Haven't been in here for 15 years or so.  Kid Alert Level at GREEN - they are entranced by the mirrors and the fireplace.

5 min - Tables with regulars getting served.

10 min - Waitress stops by to get drink order (2 coffee, OJ & milk for kids)

11 min - Waitress drops off 2 waters and 1 coffee.  Kid Alert Level moves to YELLOW - break out the matchbox cars and attempt to hold the line.

15 min - Waitress drops off OJ and milk, and asks if we're ready to order.  Wife asks for her coffee.  Waitress immediately disappears to get it without taking food order.

20 min - Waitress brings back coffee and takes food order.

25 min - Kid Alert Level at RED.  There's movement all over the place! They're under the tables!  Game over, man, game over!

30 minutes - Food comes out.  Kid Alert Level drops back to GREEN while they stuff their faces.  The food was fine; pretty much what you'd expect.

So, not the greatest experience for us.  I think one of the big problems was that there was only one waitress (an older Greek-ish lady who seemed very, very pressured).  A second waitress showed up later and I'm wondering if they were just temporarily understaffed (although a cook and a waitress should easily be able to handle a crowd of 3 tables!)

As always, your mileage may vary.

A note -- Perry's does seem to have a flock of regulars.  The staff seems to know them all by name and knows what they want to get.  That's usually a very good sign for a place and perhaps the 2 star review won't prove out in the future.  I just don't think we'll go back.

Perry's is a family owned business which has been around for over 35 years. They serve an early bird breakfast, they offer daily menu specials, happy hour, etc. Their business is divided into three areas: Restaurant, Bar and Odies' Pub. Perry's was one of our first experiences of Odenton, Md. approximately 5 years ago. Before my son began high school, it used to be a special spot to enjoy breakfast. The best part of breakfast was our server Edde. She remembers your order (even the little special request) and she is on top of your needs before you ask. The head cook is an older greek gentleman who even comes out to ask if your food is ok.  It's definitely a local place, with a local feel. They offer live local bands on Friday and Saturday's with no cover ( Oracle is a must see). They also offer pool and darts downstairs at Odie's Pub.  Their menu offers american and greek choices as well.  The gyro and greek menu items are a must try.

**Recent remodel of the restaurant.  Looks like a totally different place.
    Beautiful.
