Although this bar is long gone I felt that it deserved a worthy review in remembrance of this place.

What comes to mind when I think of this place was freedom. Yes this place was totally awesome! The bartender never complained when I used to put annoying music on the jukebox. He himself was usually getting drunk beyond all belief. This place always made me feel that I could do whatever I wanted in it. Besides the drunken Italian bartender Andrew, there was an older bartender in his 70's named Bobby. Both of these guys were damned good at making mixed drinks. Bobby tended to be way more quiet though.

Besides putting some tunes on the juke box and having a few mixed drinks I used to play a game of pool now and then. They had a ton of pool tables at this bar. I felt more like this place was geared up to be a pool hall than just a regular bar. Mostly though I just stuck with drinking.

After Andrew quit and Bobby retired I just felt like there was no reason for me to come back here anymore. One month after those 2 left the lady who owned the place sold it to someone else. It changed hands and names 3 more times. Now this place is called "Dat Bar". I really never went back and checked out the changes but I don't think I would want to. Its just not the same bar anymore!

This place is permanently closed but it was one hell of a bar!!!!!
