I've been meaning to check out the Pig and Whistle since I've heard about it a few months ago. Â While the restaurant is on Route 50, this is a hard place to find since the driveway is easy to miss and the building that the Pig and Whistle is located in is set back behind a house. Â It is right next to a bridge over a creek, so that would be good for a landmark. Â Still, there is ample parking and plenty of seating available when you arrive.
For service, I had two servers working on me. Â One was in training, and she was doing a good job as well, so I have zero complaints about my service. Â I had ordered a beer from their decent selection of bottled and draft beers. Â For my meal, I had a fresh salad and the shepherd's pie. Â Both were plentiful, tasty morsels. Â They do have a more extensive food menu, mostly of pub fare and related favorites. Â Definitely worth coming back here again with friends or family.
Absolutely FABULOUS food and drink . Great involved kitchen staff and professional and pleasant wait staff. Â Daytime bartender was TOP NOTCH.
Check out the prime rib, the pizzas are incredible and the view is wonderful. Â HIGH quality ingredients Great music on the weekends and definitely a place I KNOW i'll keep going back to over and over.
