Pizza Bono

this place is fast and the workers are friendly. They always have a good deal going on. I am obsessed with the steak and mushroom sub. Very yummy. Well priced menu. A favorite for me and my family

I stopped here to pick up some lunch on the way into work.  I opted for an 8" meatball sandwich for $5.25.  While it was being prepared, I noticed that I could have a lunch special that added in fries and a 20 oz. soda for an extra dollar.  So, naturally I upgraded.  The sandwich was made to order and prepared right in front of me.  So I saw the cook grill the meatballs, toast the bun, and sauce and season the sandwich.  The sandwich was surprisingly very good, and I liked the sauce.  So I would say their pizza has potential -- I may have to try it next time.  

The only clear drawback is the lack of promotion.  I didn't see any take away menus, and I would not have known there was a lunch special if I hadn't seen the small paper announcing it on the side wall.  If you are in the area, check out their meatball sandwich.
