Pizza Inn

I had lunch today with my hubby at the Pizza Inn. We have eaten here many times before and we usually have enjoyed it. Today was a little different, being I was on my lunch break, we got there a little after noon. Seeing everyone around the pizza buffet island looking puzzled, I wondered what was going on. So me and my husband get our drinks and a table, then go to the pizza buffett island, I then understood the puzzled look on everyone's face, there was no pizza! Oh sure, there were one or two pieces on a couple of the pizza pans but they looked like they had been there a while and looked rather lonely. My husband sat down and said he'd wait, while I got a salad. Well time passed and still no new pizza's! Finally the lady manager walked by and asked how everything was, I then ordered a cheese pizza. So eventually a few new pizza's came out, we ate and during our meal we learned one of the customer's had placed an order when we first got there and had not received it, so they decided to eat the remaining pizza on the buffet, he wasn't very happy especially after waiting so long to find out they didn't make his order. Then I saw a elderly lady tell one of the employees to come and clean off their table. At one point me and my husband saw all the employees gathered around the cash register visiting and laughing having a good ole time as if they had nothing to do.
We finished our meal, I went to the restroom before leaving and it was filthy!! I haven't ever seen this place such a mess! I don't know if they have changed some of their policies or under new management or what the problem was on this day. I did see new faces working there maybe they were all learning, who knows, but hopefully they get their act together. Even if it is the only pizza place in town they do need to be competitive, it's not that far to drive to Mount Pleasant.
